University of Arizona VS. Arizona State University for Biology?

I am majoring in Biology and Neuroscience, so which one would you recommend>

I am somewhat leaning toward ASU, due to the gang stuff I've heard about in Tuscon.

Update:

LOL, Tucson

I am a current Freshman at The University of Arizona and I am majoring in M&C Biology. I don't know anything about the ASU Biology program, but I can only say good things about the College of Science at UofA. The school as a whole is a great place to be for four years...yeah the part of the city around the school is kind of shitty, but it's your typical college town. My CHEM151 teacher, Wesolowski is a graduate of MIT, the teachers are good and they do actually care. The school has a lot to offer with greek life, sports, and the education is pretty damn good.

Hon, there are gangs EVERYWHERE. Including Tempe and Phoenix, where the major ASU campuses are held.

So don't pay any attention to what you've heard about that.

Look at the actual schools and decide for yourself.

Personally, I would choose ASU since they have a way larger Biology department and typically, more supportive staff and administration should you need help.

But look at both and weigh your options.

    Good luck!

You'll have an awesome time at either, both are amazing schools=)
