Looking for a NFL team to root for?
I'm totally new to football, I hated every sports until I read the Raiders Night and start to like football, then I do some researchs, read about teams, the rules, watch some games, turn out I love it!
My friends suggest that it's gonna be more lots more fun if I have a team to root for and I think it's make sense too. So I've been reading wiki pages, watch games, spending hours to watch NFL network.... after a week doing these stuff, I learned something that even though I live in the Bay Area, CA I don't like any of the C.A teams, the teams that I like are the Pats (but I don't want to hear people saying that its because of their winning season so I like them), the Saints, the Cardinals,.... in short I like lots of teams and still not chose any team yet.
So, I post this for you to suggest any team for me, no haters please, I don't need that, give me pros and cons of the team that you suggest, I’ll total up and do more research on the teams that you guys suggest for me, hoping I’ll find my team before new year haha, thank you for your help and happy holidays!
I DO NOT LIKE THE BAY AREA TEAMS, IT'S THAT SIMPLE
I'm not pick any teams because I totally NEW! How the heck can I know any teams better since I'm just come to the U.S a year ago??? This week is like my first football week ever! Don't answer my question if all you want to do is to asking me another question!
@Ally <3 : LOL, U make the SAINTS sound sooooooo GREAT! :D LOVE IT!
@Other who suggest me Pats: yes, I do understand, but like I said, idc, haters are just haters
@McCourty: LOL, I'm live in Daly City, so cool to know that I'm not alone in the Bay!

I live in the Bay Area as well, Gilroy to be exact, where do you live? Anyways I'm a life long Patriots fan who grew up in a Patriots family. I was picked on for years in elementary school and junior high because the Patriots were horrible and everybody beat them, but then in my sophomore year in high school they won their 1st super bowl and suddenly I was bandwagon. Like you said, haters are gonna hate, obviously they are your FAVORITE team because you have them as your avatar... stick with them and enjoy the great season they are having.
GO PATS!!!
EDIT: That makes 2 of us my man! Its hard to find Patriots fans in the Bay Area LOL.

You're Vietnamese right?
- Dallas Cowboys! They had a linebacker named Dat Nguyen and he was awesome. I think hes a coach now. He's the only reason why there are alot of Cowboys fan in Little Saigon.
I'm not sure about your personality but there are some teams that fits with alot of people's personality
If you are the competitive one, choose:
-Patriots
-Colts
-Steelers
-Cowboys
If you are the one that is quiet but smart choose:
-Any losing team
-Falcons
-Bears
If you love the history of football you should definitely choose:
THE GREEN BAY PACKERS!!!!
From my own experience, a winning team gives you more interest to football then a losing team when you are new to watching the NFL. I can see that you are defending the Patriots so you should be a Pats fan. Nothing wrong with that.
Oh by the way
18-1 :)

i, LOVEEE that you included the saints in the teams you like. im a sorta new football fan too-at least, nfl-wise. but even in the short time ive been a fan, i LOVE the saints. there an amazing team with amazing fans. they have come so far, being pretty bad to recently winning the super bowl. most importantly-there games are EPIC. NEVER a dull moment, always VERY exctinting! they have turned out to be a great team, and with sean payton as there coach and drew bree's as the QB theres nothing not to love. They have great colors, fans, and omg are just amazing. i lovee them with my heartt. The pats are a good team, but eh, just boring. they never have a "bad" season. it makes it less exciting when they have a good season. they get far, then lose and dont go to the super bowl. the saints really mix it up, making it all the more exciting when they do well. They have amazing amazing amazzingg players, all good people. they also have a cool little saying, "who dat", somethinf pretty special. its something fans will sya to each other when cheering, like a chant. They always have a smile on there face and after a tough loss always try there best. they also have a super cool symbol. they are really an amazing team, fun to cheer for due to the amazingly exciting games. there also not too common like the pats. personally, i like being that one person who loves a diff. team than most, thats bettter than most. Plus they still do have lotsa fans-always lookin for more!
In the end, please be a saints fan<33 no negatives. there amazing and could use some more fans. Theree a great team with great players who play exciting games. whats not to love? (:
ohh and if u dont want to read all this....SAINTS SAINTS SAINTS SAINTS SAINTS<3333 WHO DAT? (:

Find an NFC and an AFC team to root for for now. Pick it based upon whatever you like. For example, NFC: Philadelphia Eagles AFC: Baltimore Ravens. Next season, do player research and enter a fantasy league, you'll watch more games and build a sort of relationship with your fantasy draftees. If you find one you really start to root for, say, Eli Manning, then BAM. Drop everything, be a New York Giants fan!

seeing u have a patriot avatar...
if u want an upcoming team, check out the St. Louis Rams. They have a good rookie QB and a great RB. things will really start to look up for them here

the pats are a good team to root for, regardless of their winning season. obviously you will have people call you a bandwagoner which can be annoying, but they are a classy, well-mannered group of guys who go out every week and do their business without any media frenzy/spotlight problems, spygate aside.

I say the Colts. You get to watch the Great Peyton Manning! You will more than likely be happy with their games. They are a great team on and off the field!! Go Blue!

Don't root for the Saints just because they won the Superbowl, It's simple root for the Patriots (You do have their logo as your avatar) Don't worry about haters

The Packers are rich in history, tradition and have a winning tradition.
The team is owned by the community and its stock holders. There is no wealthy owner pulling strings and flexing their wealth.
These are the reasons I love the Pack!
Cheers! Welcome to the game!

I would say the Colts since that is my favorite team but whatever team you decide please be a real fan and support them through the rough years instead of being a bandwagon fan and jumping to a different team
