hard itchy lump after tick bite?
In august 2008 i was bitten by a tick. its whole head was buried in my shoulder. I got it all out with a little digging. and now in December 2010 there is still a raised bump about the size of my pinky nail that itches frequently. its flesh colored and its not showing any signs of Lymes. But im still wondering if this is abnormal?

The signs of Lyme would have been there during the first two weeks. It is possible that your body has formed scar tissue where you dug it out. It could have also formed a keloid which can pull nerves in with it and itch, burn or hurt.
