Am I the only one thrilled to hear that MP's have become honest again?

Now that the IPSA have relaxed rules concerning MP's expenses after pressure from said MP's. Isn't it nice to know that our honest and trustworthy politicians are now only required to 'tell the truth' when claiming expenses. As we all know they have a long and pleasant history of truthfulness, so there's nothing to worry about.

Yeah, 'kin' right. Those self serving arrogant robbing bastards in Wasteminster wouldn't know the truth if it bit them on their lazy, fat, useless, taxpayer funded arses. Anyone stupid enough to vote for the Hydra that is the LibLabCon party needs sectioning under the mental health act, as they are a danger not only to themselves but to society as a whole.

Update:

@ D R, the average voter ain't much better mate. they still put their X in the same old box regardless of how the MP has behaved in the past, Bercow, Clegg, Cameron and Brown have all been forced to hand back monies gained under false pretences, it's a crime for you and me mate but only an oversight for them. Yet these buffoons are still in parliament, does an MP have to kill a family member before some of these idiots stop giving them their vote?

Maybe I'm being simplistic, but when I was in business the claiming of expenses was governed by one overarching criterion - was the expense necessary in order for me to do my job? What is so bloody difficult about that? Duck houses? moats?

MP's have some issues regarding family, particularly children, who depend on them and may be miles away in the constituency, but rules can be devised to cover those eventualities (e.g. a sick child of a single parent) but the types of such special cases are rare. Anything else must be job related and supported by receipts.

Don't start to celebrate yet, these plonkers are pulling more rabbits out of the hat then any magician can.

Sir Ian (who ?) the so called head of the expenses watchdog has now been openly criticised by dozens of MPs because they want more "responsibility" to run the expense system. They blasted Sir Ian Kennedy because he called on the british people to tell him what MP's should claim/or not claim for.

Senior MP's led by Tory Roger Gale even called on him to "consider his position"

The new plans for reform has brought fears that Sir Ian will cave in to this arrogant and greedy band of robbers.

There is also a possibility that the MP's could even get back the right to second Homes.

The brotherhood of robbers still have not learnt what we the people demand, in fact they are saluting us with two fingers in the air.

You all know the saying - "Better the Devil you know, than the Devil you don't". That is why people in Britain still vote Lib/Lab/Con. It would take a miracle for any other party to gain ground enough to stop this once and for all. Hitler managed it in the 1930's and look where it all ended. Despite all the posturing by those who want it all to change, the majority will always vote for the three largest parties in the land. Yes we all moan about the current status quo, but very few actually do anything about it. Even those who perpetually rant on about how spineless the nation is. You reading this Crow?

Old Grumpy nailed it for you. Kind of reminds me of the two MPs caught out talking about the expenses scandal and how if they were in government the public would get some pay back. George Osbourne was one of them and sorry but I can't remember the other. Definitely a Labour MP though. Osbourne was the one speaking to the Labour politician.

Those filthy despicable parasites wouldn't KNOW! how to be honest. But then shame on the people for putting up with it and doing nothing. Servility is the mark of the 21st century British public, so I suppose you could say that they deserve nothing less than the cheap thieves Embezzlers and second hand car dealers that infest their parliament. There's a rumour going around the world that if British MPs turn up to a banquet, orders are to count the silver before the end of the evening. That's the kind reputation those low life crooks have......A vote inside the lib lab con is a vote for theft embezzlement lies and deception, a vote for the continuation of open borders and complete social destruction. The people live the Hell of their own design. How many warnings do they require before they look ahead at the disaster that awaits them? What will it take for the British to stop voting for the lib lab con.

how do you change when every single newspaper and every single tv news program

from the bbc to itv and beyond distorts the truth by its very questions.

just watch news night and see how the interviewer changes the subject when a spokesman

for justice comes up with a convincing argument, they quickly turn to the opponent to give

    a reason to condem it.

but then never question his or her reply.

when are the british public going to wake up.

answer probably never because as long as they can get by with enough to eat and drink,

and as long as they keep putting programs like the xfactor, celebrity get me out of here

and strictly come dancing, then the general public will continue to wallow in a mess of

    drink, obesity,laziness, and ignorance.
