  • Now Roy has been driven out?

Will the Liverpool "Supporters" throw the same vitriol at King Kenny when he proves himself to be a managerial dinosaur. Fantastic servant for the club but he will be found wanting once the sparkle wears off. We all know that you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

  • Am I the only one thrilled to hear that MP's have become honest again?

Now that the IPSA have relaxed rules concerning MP's expenses after pressure from said MP's. Isn't it nice to know that our honest and trustworthy politicians are now only required to 'tell the truth' when claiming expenses. As we all know they have a long and pleasant history of truthfulness, so there's nothing to worry about.

Yeah, 'kin' right. Those self serving arrogant robbing bastards in Wasteminster wouldn't know the truth if it bit them on their lazy, fat, useless, taxpayer funded arses. Anyone stupid enough to vote for the Hydra that is the LibLabCon party needs sectioning under the mental health act, as they are a danger not only to themselves but to society as a whole.

  • Is it now time for the British people to stand up and be counted.?

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1340794/Mu...

I'm talking to everyone here including all the moderate UK muslims, we all need to stand together or risk creating further divisions within what's left of our society. Time for the muslim community to start getting its house in order rather than just keeping quiet, their silence has been deafening for far too long.

  • Would Parliament survive an investigation by the Monopolies and Mergers Commision?

Apart from the colour of the rosettes worn when telling downright lies on the campaign trail, I can see no discernible difference between the Lib/Lab/Con merchants. They all tell you what they will do for you, then go ahead and do whatever they please once in power. I liken them to those American wrestling organisations where they all have these bitter rivalries on the stage, yet once they are behind the scenes, it's all one big happy family.

They keep power between themselves by dividing the nation into classes, when in fact there are only two classes 'Them' and 'Us'. Divide and rule is all they care about and those who profess to understand politics are too blind to see it. If everyone took off their red, blue and yellow tinted specs and put aside their petty rivalries and jealousies, maybe, just maybe we would get a government we could be proud of.

  • Would students accept this?

I would like to see fees organised fairly and that would be something like this.

Pass with a 1st = No fees due.

    Pass with a 2.1 = 20% payable.

    Pass with a 2.2 = 40 % payable.

    Pass with a 3rd = 60% payable.

    Pass with a Pass = 80% payable.

Fail or Drop Out = 100% payable.

Obviously there would be some cases where dropping out was unavoidable and each case should be taken on its merits and payments should be adjusted accordingly. I think this would be a fair system. There should be rewards for success and fees should reflect this. As an aside I would also say that all student union subs should go towards setting up scholarships for people from underprivileged backgrounds and not towards subsidies at the student bar.
