Who will win the 2011 F1 championship?
Let's have none of this 'it's too early to tell' stuff. I just want to get a sample of who's favourite in your books. Alonso? Vettel? Hamilton? Button? Webber? Perhaps even Schumacher, Rosberg or Kubica?
What do you think?
Also, same question but for the constructors championship. :)

Red Bull are likely to be clear of the rest of the field (most of the rule changes benefit them). So Red Bull for the constructors and Vettel to win WDC again (Webber will struggle to match him as well as he did in 2010).
Mercedes have the most to gain from the rule changes: the return of KERS and new tyres will help.
On balance, McLaren have the most to lose of the top teams from the rule changes (losing the F-duct will hurt them badly).
Ferrari are likely to slip back slightly (they seem to be reverting to their old team infighting, which is never good for development)
Force India should gain some ground again
So overall constructors prediction:
1. Red Bull
2. Mercedes
3. Ferrari
4. McLaren
5/6 Force India/Renault
7. Williams
8/9/10. Toro Rosso/Team Lotus/Sauber
11. Virgin
12. HRT

At the beginning of last season, I picked Vettel. It took until the last race, but I ended up picking the right driver. I'm going with Vettel again for 2011. Compared to the other post-Schumacher champions (Button, Hamilton, Alonso), he has equal or greater driving talent than any of them, and he seems to have the greatest composure of the four of them. If his car doesn't fall apart under him, he'll be the champion.
Constructor: Red Bull. They've got one of the best driver duos on the grid, and their cars are the best of the bunch (when they don't blow up).

Nico Rosberg. Beating Schumacher all year long has proved to him that he can be an F1 driver, not just the son of one.
Mercedes. Ross Brawn has had over 6 months working almost exclusively on the 2011 car, a similar situation to when he came up with the 2009 Brawn. Put the best engine and best KERS in a top chassis and the results should follow, no matter who the drivers are.

I think Alonso has the upper hand.
They have the experience with KERS so they would develop a good car. McLaren would still be a contender but I think Ferrary would be faster. I think Red Bull will not have a good car next year since they need to develop KERS from scratch.

1/2. Alonso/Hamilton 260-280 three. Vettel 250-260 4/5. Button/Webber 210-240 6. Massa 140-a hundred and fifty 7. Rosberg one hundred thirty-140 eight. Sutil a hundred and twenty-a hundred thirty 9. Schumacher 50-70 10. Both Renault/Williams drivers 30-50 If Kubica returns earlier than the tip of the season, he might build sufficient features to take 10th situation in four-5 races. Rosberg to jump Massa (and maybe more) if Merc provide the automobile.
