Would lifting weights stunt my growth?

I am 15 ( a month away from 16) and I am 5 foot 6. I have recently been lifting weights and doing chin ups/pull ups with a chin-up bar I got, and was wondering if it would stunt my growth. The weights I am doing feel like a bit too much for me (30, doing bicep curls) and I was wondering if it is too much weight, will it stunt my growth? Thanks in advanced. :)

Not necessarily I think that applies to young kids around 12 and under. But still to be safe I would just work out with your body weight like pushups, wide grip pull ups for back and regular for arms. I wouldn't use weights because you can hurt yourself if your not carefull and possibly stunt your growth.
