Can any religious head perform miracles? Can he cure a disease just by touching the patient.?

No event in this Cosmos can happen without a cause and some amount of some sort of energy is involved. The cause and the energy involved can be accounted by Science. If you fail to understand the cause and the nature of energy involved, the event appears to be a miracle, but that is not true. I am very confident that no religious head can perfprm a miracle.

    Any person with purest mind and heart and positive and self confident has power in his or her words and utterances.

    He or she need not be a religious head.

    Miracles you talk, are understood by me as 'impossible task', which ordinary person can not do.

    So yes, persons described above can do some 'impossible looking tasks' provided such tasks are not against Universal laws.

    No one, even God almighty can not go against nature and universal laws and rules.

    One can not create blood from water.

    We hear about Miracles' in some stories and religious books but personally I do not believe and it is impossible to prove. In fact they look like exaggerations to enhance personality or importance.

    Almighty can not break nor he allows to break his own set laws by which he governs Universe.

    Else what is the meaning of 'universal laws'?

    Absolutely not. Some religious organizations/businesses, even the most preferred/"followed" claim they can heal, not even touching, but by praying, or concentrating on that person. And the vast majority of people actually believe this, because somehow they need to. The best test for these "miracle workers" is to do another miracle like feeding the poor with 2 fish and a loaf of bread... Africa is starving and not only Africa. At least let them try... If they can do one huge miracle of healing someone else, surely if they pray a bit more to their god or bank manager, they'll manage. If they manage this, they’ll have every person converting to their faith. I’d like to see the Pope at least trying this - after all, he is the direct representative of god on Earth :))

    No the religious head does not directly cause these miracles. I believe that they can happen, though, through faith and power of the mind. Consider sick patients in placebo treatments: there are marked signs of improvement in placebo studies, even though a placebo is neutral and has no ability to heal. This is because the patient merely believes that the placebo is helping, and it is their mind that somehow causes improvement. Humans only use 10% of their brains; who is to say that the other 90% can't activate and cause miracles?

    Nobody can perform any miracle. One can be cured only through the amount of confidence he has in him

    If anyone performs a miracle it's God working through them. No human can perform a miracle on their own it's impossible.

    Discovery channel had done a research on this topic and said no one is cured with miracle.

    NO...

    All the Power with Almighty God....

    Let us understand the meaning of Almighty God?

    Meaning of Almighty God:

    In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

    1. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;

    2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;

    3. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;

    4. And there is none like unto Him.

    The Holly Qur’an (Surah 112. Al-Ikhlas) (The Unity, Sincerity, Oneness Of Allah)

    I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is Allah's servant and His Messenger

    Thank You

    you are incorrect.

    Source(s): my world is full of scientific anomalies. if you do not believe in miracles, when they happen you will not believe it.

    And you would be correct. These so called "cures" are the result of hysteria, pure and simple

    No not at all.....behind every thing there is some hidden fact of science
