How can i be like my uncle and aunt and start a pitbull breeding business?
before I hear all the same thing "too many pitbulls are being breed with no homes" blah blah blah where i live pitbulls are very uncommon! my uncle and aunt have 8 pitbulls, they breed them like 4 times a year and they usually have 8-12 puppies and sell them for $2000 each, each litter they earn a good 20k + and all together with all the breeds about 80k a year
this all started when my uncle was at a lake a found a pregnant pitbull in 2003
and she gave birth and had 12 puppies! and he sold them for £2000 and they sold in 2 weeks.
since then his been doing this and he has his own kennels
his motto on his site says "XL BULLY GANG KENNELS IS A FAMILY BUISNESS, SINCE 1989 -PRESENT MY DAD HAS BEEN BREEDING & SELLING PITBULLS. CH BLOODLINES BRED FOR THICK MUSCULAR BODIES AND HEAVY BONE STRUCTURE. (NOT SOLD FOR ILLEGAL PURPOSES) TOP BREEDING'S OF THE ORIGINAL BULLY BLOODLINE."
and Thanks to Michael Vick and other people who make dogs fight out there, when my uncle breeds pitbulls and before he sells any of them he has to do a back ground check on the person who's buying them and see if they have any thing on their police report about dog fighting! which is a good thing because most the time we like to see our dogs go to good homes with families so they can live a long happy life. so his responsible.
I love pitbulls with a passion, really I am so interested in them!
I have such love for them, I hate the bad rep of them!
and not being stereotypical but I'm a woman why would I make my dogs fight before your thinking I want to breed and fight them.
Thats more of a young ghetto boys thing.
I just want to breed them to continue there population and as a job!
I'd take very good care of them!
( I live with my uncle and aunt and been around these dogs since I was born and they have such great lifes living with us, never shown any aggression or anythign!
How can I get into this business?
well it started with a lost dog who was some kind of champion huge bully
then he brought another to who were champions and breed them
its confusing
check out his site: bullygang
BULLYGANG.COM IS HIS SITE
HIS NAME IS CORY
sorry if i sound racist
but its black men who make these dogs have a bad reputation, with the fighting and stuff from what ive seen
im just a young white lady who adores these dogs
and just wants to be around them all the time cause i admire them so much
and before you say im racist my aunt cathy works for a pitbull rescue team
and every abused pitbull she picks up is from some big ole black thugs house.
obviously not all black people but most of them.
when ever i see a black thugged out man with a pitbull not gonna lie i cringe and feel sick inside. sad but true.
if you look at DMX music (the rapper)
he raps about pitbulls killing and ripping up people
makes me SICK!
THANKS SO MUCH sunkissed8883 AND A SPECIAL THANKS TO Debs Mom I lovedd your answer!!!! I will be giving you the 10 points!!!
also thanks CHRIS and other kind answers
I asked my aunt cathy and she said I can help out rescuing pitbulls with her which would be amazinggg

Oh MY GOD !!!!!!
How selfish of you, all you care about is the money- Stop Lying! Where you live they are RARE, what kind of BS is that. People like you is what is Wrong w/ these Breeds. You don't even know about the History, White Men used Pit Bulls for fighting a Century before being cool by Thugs.
Louis B. Colby Owner of 1868 Colby's Pincher, creator of the Colby Bloodline is WHITE, and so where all the DogMen.
People who Rescue Pits don't BREED THEM.
If your family does this as a Buisness, why are you on here & Not asking them?
This sounds like BS !

When I read the first part of your letter, I was afraid you were wanting to sell these loving pit bulls for all the wrong reasons. I too am a pit bull lover, actually I love all dogs. I always watch "Pit Boss" and "Pit Bulls and Parolees" on Animal Planet, and commend these programs for showing what wonderful animals these dogs are. I'm so glad to hear your aunt and uncle screen the buyers of these wonderful pets. I'm having a very hard time forgiving Micheal Vick, and was very upset at first that the Eagles took him in. Vick does seem to have been "educated" about this beautiful breed in the past few years, and I hope I can believe what he says about his change of heart. If you plan on selling these dogs too, I'm sure your aunt and uncle can help you out. They seem to be doing pretty good. You seem to be a good person, but if you get into this...please be certain these young pups go to people with good intentions. Some folks can be pretty deceiving and will only tell you what they think you want to hear. I think people who make money on the use and abuse of these poor dogs, should be sent to prison like Vick was, and given a longer sentence than he was given. I have a word for these people but I can't put it in print. Good Luck to you my friend...

That's great they do background checks on the future owners! And I think that's awesome it all started by him adopting a stray pregnant pitbull! But the sad truth is today, there are so many animals and dogs in shelters these days without homes. Breeding just exacerbates the problem by filling loving homes with dogs that have been bred, while ten more who are in shelters, will be euthanized. You sound so passionate for these animals and I feel you'd love an experience in animal rescue (maybe even specific to pitt rescue) Its the best satisfaction in the world. Knowing that you helped, organized, planned, and found loving homes for abused and neglected pitts seems like it would mean the world to you. Unfortunately not everyone is as kind as your aunt and uncle to these loving animals, and I know what I suggested my not be as profitable, but it just melts your heart when you know you helped out a little pit that didn't get the life that it should have. Sorry that I didn't actually answer your question, but I wish you all the best in whatever you do and I commend you on your love for pittbulls! They really are great, loving dogs :)

First I do own an american pit bull terrier. Second I do not approve of breeding dogs that the blood lines can not be traced. My pit is of colby king blood line. Third have any of these dogs had agression testing? Are they raised inside? Outside? Thereis alot that comes into play when it comes to breeding dogs. Its not about the money. Its about the love of the breed and sharing information and teaching people about the breed.

UH.. If they are breeding to a standard, they would not advertise crap like heavy boned and muscular. Pure bred dogs are bred to a standard, period. You will never see Boxers advertised as "heavy boned and muscular" because they would not meet the standard. It seems to me you "aunt and uncle" (whose website is oddly not on google) are breeding mongrels that they sell to people with a lot of money and no education. Michael Vick did far less to give a pit bull a bad name than these type of breeders.

Go work at a dog crematorium and count your Aunt and Uncles precious pit bull puppies. No one on here is going to help you add to the horrendous number of Pit Bulls in Kill Shelters.

anyone who is breeding responsibly does not make a profit off of it.
Your Uncle is NOT breeding APBT.. those are bully mutts.
