My room is 10 by 12, it is small and I want to change the carpet. Can someone tell me the estimate on how much it can cost me? It is only for 1 room

You can get carpet installed with a standard pad from 2.50/3$ a s/f And it just goes up from there. Since you have a 12 foot wide room , standard rolls will work. You have 120 s/f, so your looking at 300/360$ for a decent carpet.
A room that size you can also look for remnants. These run much cheaper.
This generally won t include rip out and disposal of the old but you can also some times work out a deal to include that,
Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL

it can greatly range. carpet cost a certain amount per sq foot. average good grade carpet is 2.50 per sq ft, so $300. plus the padding... another $50 ish, plus installation?? all depends. you can go to any hardware store, give them your budget and pick out some carpet. They will always give you dead on quotes including the taxes. I say an estimate for medium grade quality would be around $600 for your room.

You need to go to a shop that sells carpets, as we have no idea how per square metre you want to pay, in the UK it can pay as little as £3.99 a meter, or up to £50 or more, just go to the shop with the size of the room and they will work it all out for you, Fitting it is about £50, plus parts
