well my close guy friend was with me and i saw my best friend and i told him that she was my best friend and he said that that made him feel excluded...what could he mean by that?

    Setting aside the girl/guy thing for a moment, you just told one friend that another friend was your BEST friend. So does that make him your second-best friend? Not a good feeling.
