It's true that there is a cross (of St George) on the English flag.
It's also true that England used to be 99.9% christian.
The latter is no longer true - but since we are a deeply conservative (small c) people, we see no reason to change the flag.

Because the flags are from a time when these countries were not secular. If they were to make new flags, I am quite sure they wouldn't have crosses or religious symbols. But history and tradition matter too much to change it now.
Why does the US need a cross in their flag? Something else the US is known for is diversity, and making the flag fit one majority doesn't embrace that. I think the flag is quite perfect as it is, contrary to for instance, the Danish flag, where they history of it has been lost many years ago, the American flag still has a suitable meaning to it.

The U.S. Congress officially recognized the Noahide Laws in legislation which was passed by both houses. Congress and the President of the United States, George Bush, indicated in Public Law 102-14, 102nd Congress, that the United States of America was founded upon the Seven Universal Laws of Noah, and that these Laws have been the bedrock of society from the dawn of civilization. They also acknowledged that the Seven Laws of Noah are the foundation upon which civilization stands and that recent weakening of these principles threaten the fabric of civilized society, and that justified preoccupation in educating the Citizens of the United States of America and future generations is needed. For this purpose, this Public Law designated March 26, 1991 as Education Day, U.S.A.

Excuse me, Denmark is Denmark suddenly secular?
Then why do we have a state church headed by our Queen who is "officially" gods representative on earth?
But that would be because the founding fathers did not want to base the US on any particular religion, speaking of freedom of religion and the separation of church and state, and then have a specific religion's most prominent symbol in your flag would be hypocrisy.

Because the US isn't a Christian nation, wasn't founded as a Christian nation, and the forefathers made that fact verbally known.

And so does the KKK. and the Nazi Gestapo. Yeshua/Jesus died on a cross, but that doesn't mean that crosses should be glorified, He was resurrected and ascended to a throne, where He is seated today, right now as we speak. So it would seem that the throne should be glorified if any thing...
