I separated from Active Duty Army on 30 December (regular ETS with about 7.5 years service).?

My orders said I am entittled to Separation Pay, dependent on entering into a written agreement to join the Reserves. I did so. Now my question is when can I expect that separation pay?

My friend, i would be contacting your Reserve Unit or better yet DFAS to find this information out. They will definitely know how much your getting and when. DFAS has all the answers. If your orders said you are entitled to Separation pay upon entering into a written agreement, that means once you sign up, you need to submit your orders and your Reserve Contract to DFAS.

Contact http://www.opm.gov/ they should be able to answer your question. With the government owing 3.7 trillion dollars you may never get it.
