If you got an 88 on a Math test, would you be upset?

In fact I did get an 88,
you might think I'm being silly but I'm in Honors and in 9th grade. I have very high expectations for myself.
It was also the last test for the quarter.
And my friends were saying about how they got such good grades, 98s and 100s!! Which I usually get, but I was under pressure because I had 25 minutes to get it done.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist, hence why I beat down on grades lower than a 90.
It's a good grade, but not as good as I want it to be.
*sighs* :c
I'm also on the Dean's List at school so I want to stay on it, but my averages have to be above 90 and overall average for all subjects 95+.
The problem with the test was that I was nervous, and I forgot what I was doing for a few minutes. I am terrible at time management.

yeah i would be a little upset too cuz i like to have all my grades above a 95 but don't get too mad!
just make sure you do better next time and see if you can do anything to bring your averge back up.
an 88 isn't bad at all, but if you're like me, you probably want to make it higher!
see if u can do anything and if you cant maybe you can like ace your midterms.
that would definetly bring your average back up!

Cuz it's not good for you! Relax an 88 is still a B! u are still smart and that's good for only 25 mins! I usually get Cs in that time! Lolz!

im in 8th grade and my test scores are in the 70s so an 88 would be good for me just ask the teacher if you could do extra credit to bring it up

No, i mean i might be a little cuz i was so close to 90 but still im always happy with 80 and above esp. 85 and above

Depends on whether you thought the test was hard or easy. If you thought it was easy and got an 88, then I would go back and make sure you know the material. (especially if everybody had the same time allotted).

I'm just like you. I would be upset, but what you have to realize is that it's just one test and you can't do anything to change it. It's a good grade, so just work harder next time if you want a better grade. Disappointment fades.

i ended intense college a semester early, and that i by no skill bothered going to commencement. I went forward and began college in January, and took a summer season semester to boot, so via the time my classification acquaintances began college interior the fall i became already a sophomore. no must be disillusioned approximately that for the period of any respect. it quite is a sturdy success.
