It would be better to come off it step wise unless a doctor has advised you to stop it at once in which case you should discuss your concerns with your doctor. In theory your body should only really revert back to its pre-'tongkat ali' condition. Though if you are no longer inhibiting aromatase to the same extent you may expect some hormonal changes... though these should not have any major physical impact unless you start over eating. Physiologically, much aromatase may be produced by 'active' fat cells. If you are slim in terms of body fat you may not have to worry (speculation). Though even men need aromatase to an extent anyway...it helps with cholesterol regulation.....raising HDL cholesterol among some other proposed roles (further reading: http://www.eje-online.org/cgi/reprint/140/2/111 ).
Anyway, if you are overly concerned when coming off 'tongkat ali', take a teaspoon of raw honey (unpasteurised honey) twice a day....either alone, in food or in chamomile tea. Raw honey contains some aromatase inhibiting substances (e.g. apigenin) as does chamomile tea (e.g. apigenin).
Peace.
