Why don't fighter/military planes leave contrail?

As we all have seen commercial aircrafts leave white contrails behind their engines when at high altitude. I'm fine with this, but, how come fighter planes never do that? It is clear that they use the same engine type etc.

Who says military aircraft don't leave contrails?????

    How about an F22 http://rides.webshots.com/photo/288138816002915942...

How about a B17 over Germany in WWII? http://goodsky.homestead.com/files/gallery.html

    How about a B2 with contrails http://www.flickr.com/photos/brentdanley/287212038...

So those prove all aircraft can and do leave contrails sometimes. Its all temp and humidity and any engine can produce a contrail.

All aircraft will leave contrails under the right conditions. It doesn't matter whether they are military or civilian. In a standard atmosphere, just about any aircraft flying above 26,000 feet will leave some sort of contrail.

It is not true that they NEVER do that. It is just that conditions were not right at the time. Google B 52 contrails and you should get about 22,500 pictures. During the Vietnam war fine sand was injected into the exhaust to prevent contrails so they wouldn't get shot down.

They do leave contrails. During cross-country flights in the Navy I would drop back from the standard wingman spot and play in the cons of the leader.

Fighters usually don't get that high unless they are traveling to a long distant location. Cargo aircraft like the C-5 and C-17 certainly do, as well as AWAC and J-8s.

There are no chemtrails, wiki publishes anything any individual wants to write. People who believe in that are disturbed.

Well said, commercial planes leave contrails but those planes you see on the air with more smoke are infact contrails loaded with chemical contrails.

    Chemical contrails:

    ;

and you don't see that on the fighter planesw because they don't carry chemical contrails

And you are probably wondering what are the chemicals (i know i am using this word much) contrails?

The chemical contrails are used by the Americans to control the wheather, HAARP

This allows them to put humans weaker and more stupid

The paquistan earthquake about 1 day ago was caused by them ;)

    Google it ;)

We do, but we were also briefed on where the con level would be; so tactically we didn't fly where we could highlight ourselves.

Cross country was a different matter.

They do, you just don't see them as often as civilian aircraft.
