Considering 2011 buick lacrosse and 2011 Hyundai Sonata?
Heard about blind spots in both and concerned about 4cylinder Sonata. Anyone have one or the other?

The Lacrosse is a world-class car.
Korean made cars are for bottom feeding inbreeders.
You can't get anything worse than a Korean car.
If you're cheap, want a car that will break down on you, and because you think your sister has been looking good lately, the Hyundai Sonata would be the car for you.

I don't mind people people recommending American cars but just don't come off as a jerk. "Toyota Sucks" comes off as a major ******. At least "the raven" guys toned it down somewhat. Why do they think anyone would take advice from a guy coming across as a jerk is beyond me. The GM Customer Service guys do a much better job pushing American cars.
Oh well, "the raven" guys just had to go out of their way to prove my point.
Anyway both are great cars but in two different classes. The Sonata is a main stream mid-size car while the Lacrosse is a entry level luxury car. You really can't go wrong with either car but it comes down to what you need out of a car.
The Lacrosse is more comfortable and has some features not found on the Sonata, but it will cost more (alot more depending on options), use more gas and may have a higher cost of ownership. The Sonata isn't as nice but it is cheaper and will save more gas. It's still a nice riding car however.
If you willing the spend money on a Lacrosse you may want to look at the Hyundai Genesis sedan since both are on the same level as each other.

Too many ignorant people here.
Hyundai is not the company it was in the 90s. They make great, reliable cars in 2011.
The Sonata is one of the best rated sedans on the market. Car and Driver added the Sonata to their "Ten Best cars of 2011" list. And if you're worried about its 4 cylinder engines, don't be. Its direct injection turbo 4 cylinder has better power and fuel economy than most of its competitors V6 engines. 274 horsepower is incredible for a midsize sedan. And Hyundai is one of the highest rated car companies in costumer satisfaction by J.D. Power. If you're looking for a 4 door sedan, the Sonata should be one of the first to look at.

I had the 2011 Sonata and loved the way it looked.,,, it was very similar to my moms Lexus es350... Yes the engine is underpowered.
