am getting my bridesmaids.. an cute duffel bag with their names on it.....?

Now what do i put in it? am thinking some emergency stuff for before the wedding... like an extra pair of nylons, nail glue...travel hair spray, maybe a razor, and then i am also getting them each a personalized gift.. will decide that later.. but i want to fill these bag up.. they are the size of a small gym bag... so i need more ideas!!!

thank you in advance!

Update:

the hair spray is like 99 cents... so not that bad and can also be kept in their purses for touch ups... i am having 8 girls stand up with me..i don't think sharing a razor is going to go over great.

I think a matching cardigan or pashmina is a great idea!

There's no need to stuff the bags with little things they will never use... The other stuff is just junk really. The "emergency" stuff is usually in the bathroom at the venue, all venues I've seen provide mints, nail polish, tampons, hairspray, etc. I've been in a bunch of weddings and we had an emergency kit for everyone in the bridal suite and the only thing we ever used was the sewing kit to repair a bow that fell off a dress sash.

    Good luck!

The bag is a great idea, but don't fill it with the things you mentioned. Remember, the gift is to thank them for all their help, and if I got those things I wouldn't use any of them, for the wedding day or ever. My suggestion is to keep it simple. If you don't have a lot of money, get each girl a couple $10 gift cards to places she'd enjoy, and then maybe include a bottle of her fave liquor or chocolates. Or if you want to give just one nice gift, check amazon for ideas - they have everything from coach wallets or keychains, costume jewelry, clutches, designer sunglasses, etc.

And on your additional details, I've never shown up at a wedding, as guest or attendant, needing to shave my legs!

    Ah, a WONDERFUL gift.....

personal tissues, couple bottles of water, snacks for the wait, maybe a game book of puzzles and a pencil, clear nail polish, flip flops for the reception

(I'd leave out the travel hair spray because it tends to be overprices. I'd buy one large can and keep it in the room where you'll be dressed. Same with the razor and nail glue.)
