how much can i get with a budgeting loan?
hi Myself and my Partner currently live in my sisters house. We have a 14 month old son. The council are looking to house us soon and i was wondering whether any1 could tell me what the maximum i would be able to get is? We would need help furnishing any place we are given as we dont have a lot. Anybody had a budgeting loan recently... how much did you get??

I'm assuming you mean from the Social Fund.... in that case, you can apply for up to a maximum of £1500, taking into consideration any other loans you may have got from them. As you're about to move into a new home, I would try for a Community Care Grant. This doesn't have to be paid back. Try the links below for more info.

if ur working not much. but my sister for 2adults and 2 children got £1200
