myself and my partner registered out intent to marry last week. I looked online for the my ministers full name and on the prayer schedule for the church it said Alexander Stoddart so that is what i wrote on the form. Walking past a leaflet put up at the church hall today it said Sandy Stoddart. So now i need to change the name..... What i would like to know is does anybody know whether i will have to pay to change this.

The minister has only ever introduced himself as mister stoddart so has never said his first name... and is away on holiday so i couldnt contact him to ask.

any HELPFULL advice would be gratefull. Will be calling the registrar on Monday

My son is 2 and a half years old but is still very small. He weighs about 23lb (which is good for him he was 5lb 14oz at birth and suffered from bad reflux to the age of 10 months). I was wondering whether this would mean he only has a small/weak immune system like that of a baby the same size? He is constantly catching every bug going and it always seems to effect him really bad. He has been constantly ill for the last 5/6 weeks. He can go from being perfectly fine one minute to throwing up every minute the next.

I always take him to the GP after 2 weeks of being ill but the doc he sees always tells me he will be fine.

I don't want any stupid answers from people who are bored please only from people who have had the same experience/know what they re talking about.

Rights of a Lesbian Co-Parent?

I am asking this for a friend who is having trouble with her ex.

They were in a lesbian relationship for a few years. while together they decided they wanted a baby and used a friend as a "donor". When the child was 2 they split and her ex has stopped her seeing the child. Does any one know if she has any rights to see the child? Her ex is currently back in a relationship with the child's dad and pregnant with another child.

any advice would be gratefully recieved. She still sees the child as "her son" and would love to be involved in his life but doesn't know if she can take further steps towards making sure she gets contact with him.

i was wondering what the average cost is at the moment to get married in a church of scotland church?? anybody able to help? x

I know its not a legal requirement in a taxi for a child to be in a car seat but i have no clue what the rules are for friends.

If a friend was to pick you up and you were only going to be in the car for roughly 10 mins does your child legally have to be in a car seat? Or can they sit on your knee with the seatbelt on them ( this is what the local taxi rank makes you do)

ok so i'v gone 7 weeks without any kind of bleeding. im usually rlly regular and come on every 20/23 days. Had loads of negative HPT and also negative doctors urine/blood test. a urine infection showed up on last sample... could this mask a positive result? Been TTC since march

ok so im 15 days late now and am usually regular. Done many HPT and all came back negative. had the docs due a urine test thats also come back negative. Been getting pains in lower tummy for a week which have settled in the right hand side, kinda feels like rly bad period pain.

Have to go back to the docs tomorrow to repeat the urine test and if iv not come on by friday she says theres a possibility that i could have an ectopic pregnancy even though im showing negative results.

has any1 had the same experiece and if so how did it turn out?? Been TTC since march

11 days late today... slight crampings for the last 2 weeks.. tired,... dizzy spells.... nd tonight i did a test and got a faint positive.handed in a urine sample to docs today n get the results monday but wat do you think?

ok well im 8 days late and have been having short sharp cramps in my lower left side for the past week. my periods are normally pretty regular. Have done about 6 hpt and all negative. should i wait another week or should i ask doc for a blood test?

hi guys, Me and my partner have been TTC child number 2 for 4 months now. My period is 3 days late but I am testing negative. With my fc i got pregnant really quick (1st time). My periods are pretty regular and usually come within 1 day of the date i started the last one. any1 had same experience? Could i still be pregnant even though im testing negative? I had a supply of tests lol but waitin till tuesday to try again.

The basics;

I was not told I had severe pre-eclampsia and was left to go overdue

I was not told i had Strep B until at 38/39 weeks i asked what i big yellow sticker meant on my file (at which point i was all ready for a home birth and my midwife from doctors had delivered my home birthing kit).

Doctors/midwife's failed to inform me of what my sons condition meant until he was 5 days old (high Billy Ruben Levels) and i had been attending hospital for 3 days for his daily blood test after discharging us due to a nurse saying he only had a little jaundice and it would only mean he may sleep through feeds and be over tired.

Midwifes failed to help me have any contact with my son until i could manage myself the day after he was born.

I have only just found out through a new hospital which i attend due to post birth problems that i had suffered from pre eclampsia, my son is now 18 months old. Could i have a case against them for negligence or misconduct. OR is it just a case of writting a normal compaints letter regarding the way i was tret?? SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY FROM PEOPLE WHO KNOW!! I am going to be getting my implant out due to bad side effects so me and my partner have decided to start trying for our second child when it comes out. How long did it take you to fall pregnant after you had it removed??

im 23 years old and have been havin pains in my breasts for some months now. ( i have a 15 month old son, never breast fed as didnt produce any milk). it started out as a dull ache but now every time there touched u get an excrutiating sharp pain followed by a pain lasting a few minutes and its also now under my arm.

should i get it checked or is it something normal? any1 in the same situation or had the same problem??

The council are looking to house us soon and i was wondering whether any1 could tell me what the maximum i would be able to get is? My son is 13 months old and has just started to get scared of certain people for no reason. he has always taken 5/10 mins to get used to seeing someone during which time he sits on my knee but is then usually fine. But in the past 2 weeks every time he sees my best friends mum ( whom he has seen a lot and used to goto on his own accord) he starts crying hysterically. He is absolutely terrifies. He only has to see her for a second and he is in tears... he was that bad last time he started screaming. Yet when we went somewhere he had never been before he was more than happy and went upto my friends bf's mum with no problem.... I dont get it?!

My 9 month old baby is being used in a harvest festival day at a church and i need a little insect ( ladybird/bumble bee) outfit for him to wear but i cant find anywhere that sells them online that are both Cheap and delivers in the uk!!! Anybody know any websites that i can try looking on? Baby fits into size 3-6 clothes at the moment.
