I had a urinary tract infection when I took my test and it was positive.

No, a UTI will not affect a pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests are designed to test for the presence of HCG in your blood or urine irregardless of infection. I wish you much luck in your TTC journey. Take Care!

Having a uti would not alter the results of a pregnancy test.

A blood test is over 99.999999% accurate and can detect pregnancy four days after conception. If your blood says negative then it's negative.

Honestly if the blood test didn't show any hcg then your most likely not pregnant :(
