Cat ate string on Wednesday?

My cat ate about six inches of string on Wed. She is eating, drinking and playing. We took her to the vet yesterday and they did two x-rays and blood work. They did not see the string and they said the was very backed up so they gave her an enema. She pooped quite a bit at the vet's yesterday. When she came home yesterday the first thing she did was eat. Since she has been home about 24 hours she has not pooped at all. I am still worried. I called the vet and they said to watch for signs of vomiting, or lack of appetite. I know stings can cause a lot of damge and I am still worrried about her not pooping, Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Update:

Thank YOU!! We gave her some milk and a half hour later she had a little poop!! YOU GET best answer!! I will be back on later or tomorrow! Thanks again!!

Update 2:

I've had a similar problem with one of my siamese. The difference was that he ate "tinsel", that stuff that's shines & put on a Christmas tree! Since I didn't see him do this, I didn't know until it passed through his gut. I wouldn't worry if she hasn't passed any stool in the last 24hrs. She could be dehydrated (from the enema) and so make sure you leave her fresh water in more than her usual drinking spot. If you see from her litter box that she still hasn't passed anything, you can give her 1 Teaspoon of regular milk. Milk makes cats stool very loose and that may work for you. Don't give her too much or then you'll give her diarrhea. Wait another 4-5hrs and give her another drop of milk.

My vet suggested this, when one of my cats was constipated; it worked!
