Can someone explain to me what is happening in Egypt?
What started all of this? What are the people upset about? What are they asking for?
It seems like everyone I ask tells me something different. Can someone tell me the real answers, or at least what is thought to be the most accurate answers?
Thanks, Kakashi!

They want their president Mubarak out. As simple as that. He has been ruling the country for 30 years in an un just way for its citizens. People have no basic rights, and the government treats the civilians like ****. No decent jobs, no decent treatment. Most people there are lower class (poor) without enough income. It's estimated that about 40% of the population are jobless (which is not their fault. Even good people who get excellent degrees and education can't find a career).
What makes the situation even more complicated is the affiliation of Mubarak with Israeli politicians. He is a big supporter for them, and so Israel obviously doesn't want him to leave his position.

Currently in Egypt revolts are going on against their president, because they do not like the way he is running Egypt. Also he has been president for over 30 years, and at each election cheats the system so he will win. So mad riots and protests are breaking out, and people are trying to loot the museum, and a few mummies already had heads torn off. It's just a mad bit of chaos going on to try to force the president out of office.

ok, it started from Tunis, when a poor graduate person couldn't find a job but to sell something on the street. a female officer came to him and humiliate him. the poor Tunisian graduate couldn't take the injustice on him & the humiliation and burned himself infront of people. the Tunisians people especially the youth went very mad and started a revolution against its dictator . the Tunisian revolution motivated the people in Egypt and especially the youth to go mad against its regime as well. Egyptians went through alot of injustice, unemployment, corruption, and problems through out the recent years, which result in starting a revolution in jan 25. the youth insist but to change the regime and its leader.
