What should happen to the mom who " hot sauced " her seven-year-old son ?

I'm thinking that little boy and his twin brother need to be placed in a more well-adjusted, loving adoptive home. I also believe this woman should be prevented from adopting again, as she clearly has some awful inner demons to contend with and clearly does not understand that children who are adopted at an older age typically have problems adjusting to their new lives/families. Counseling would be a great idea for her to learn why she feels she needs to inflict such extreme pain for such a minor offense.

That little boy needs someone loving and patient to work with him to show him that he can trust the adults in his life, and that it's okay to make a mistake as long as you learn from it.

It's terrible that a mother could intentionally harm her child in any way, it makes me sick. Something as severe as that should result in temporary loss of her child, until she can take some court ordered parenting classes. Give her the opportunity to turn herself around. I hate seeing children taken away from their parents unless there's no changing the parent. It's so sad that these things happen.

She should most definently, loose custody of not just the boy who was "hot sauced" but his twin brother also. My mom showed me the dr. phil video and was very appaled at what that woman did to her child, especially because we are russian and so was the boy, and it seems that a lot of americans adopt russian kids and end up being horrible parents. It's quite frequent and it breaks my heart. Im not sure as to what happened after the dr.phil episode, but she should loose her children. No child deserves to be put through that.

How do you listen to your baby boy screaming and make him keep screaming? How do you do this to your child or ANY child for that matter? Oh my goodness I am so angry right now.
