I need help, where in obama care does it say if you don't buy gov't insurance you go to jail?

It doesn't. It says that you will have to pay a tax as a penalty. But tax evasion is a felony that can put you in jail, so the alarmists are trying to make you believe that means it will be enforced.

I worked for the IRS and know that at least 1/4 of Americans have evaded their taxes in some small way at some time, and the law make no distinction between not reporting drug smuggling income and not reporting your childs babysitting income. Many will pay the tax and a small penalty, but you have to be darth vader incarnate and the millionth guy to walk through the door in order to be jailed for tax evasion.

Ignoring that will possibly get you jail time. So, the left twists it that the evil republicans are lying about this item.

That's not in the bill. Neither are "Death Panels." It won't kill jobs. It's not "Government Insurance." The glut of Republican lies about this new law is astonishing. And shameful.
