Negative acceleration?

is decreasing acceleration negative when a vector is decreasing in speed?

    u mean deceleration? "Decreasing acceleration" would mean it's still accelerating, but at a slower and slower rate.

    So if a vector is decreasing in speed, the vector has a "negative acceleration" yes. It's easier to say it has an acceleration in the opposite direction.
