Darrelle Revis for Defensive Player of the Year?
I know Steelers fans will kill me but Revis had a more dominating season that Troy. Brady and Manning didn't even look his way. He shut down Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, and many others. He is the most dominant player in the NFL. I don't see how you can make a case for anyone else being as dominating as him. The guy is truly the book definition of a Shut-Down Corner. No love for Revis, guys?
I love how Patriots fans are hating on the Jets and Revis. Deon Branch and Brady shouldn't have even suited up. I guess only the bitter ones hate.
Hey, Patriots fan I have respect for Tom Brady. I wish I had Tom Brady getting me Super Bowl rings and Old Bill teachers players that fundamentals and hard work is worth more than trash talk. All I'm sayin is Patriots fans should show some respect for Revis, if not for the Jets handing it to ya at your house a month after that 45-3 drumming.

He did have a phenomenal year, but unlike last year when QBs threw at him all the time and everybody heard his name QBs have stayed away from him, so he hasn't gotten as much hype. Plus the holdout and his average play due to injury at the beginning of the season probably left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouth.
But as soon as he got healthy you basically never saw him or heard his name. For a cornerback you can't ask much more.

Didn't he get torched by the so called slouch Randy Moss? didn't a rookie Daymaryius "bay-bay" Thomas torch him also? plus ZERO pick isn't going to get you anywhere and they threw at him 40+ times. Champ Bailey didn't win DPOY in 06 and they threw at him only 30 times and got 8 int and 2 td. So yeah I doubt Revis wins anything with those numbers
