I need help from women who have used or are using the Mirena for birth control...?
I had the Mirena put in at the end of September 2010, my period was sporadic week-to-week through October and November, then in December it went back to normal again. Now, I haven't had my period since December. I know that the Mirena could eventually stop my period, but I didn't think it would happen this soon, so I'm worried that I somehow might be pregnant. Anyone else experience anything like this? Sometimes I think I might be experiencing pregnancy symptoms, but then I don't really know because I have had different symptoms during both of my previous pregnancies. Did this happen to anyone else? Any advice, suggestions, help, etc. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :o)

My period was totally unpredictable on the Merina. When I did have it, it would be for about 3 days, and so light I barely even needed a panty liner. What you're experiencing is normal - but if you're concerned, why not go to the dollar tree and get a pregnancy test to put your fears at ease?

When I had the mirena I had abnormal periods that eventually stopped. I think you are fine but you could always take a test and make sure.
