Never owned the .260 or .38 super,(yet), but I kick myself daily for getting rid of my S&W 1006.

That was one of the best handgun rounds I've ever owned.

Falls right between the .357 mag and the .41 mag. power wise. was extremely accurate.

It's a shame that companies are dropping it.

My favorite weapon for home defense is a Spanish Star Model B in .38 Super. I am a small man, five foot four and 112 pounds, and it is the biggest gun I can handle. A .45 or .357 is too much for me. I like it because it doesn't have a grip safety, and I also like it because it has a lever to take the gun down in one move. The gun has a lot of slop (tolerance?) in the parts, so thus far, it has never jammed. I live here in California, with a $25 Billion dollar deficit, and a lot of people are selling everything they own, and using the money to move to another state. I bought this .38 Super along with several boxes of 130 grain + P Hollowpoint for under $300.

I do not have experience with the .260 or 10mm.

My .260 groups 5-shots inside of .625" with Nosler Partitions.

With the longer bullets, it gets great penetration. I figure it's an almost ideal deer cartridge.
