No, he's not.
And please go read about Hitler so you'll know that no American president has ever or ever will be like Hitler.

Except for the facts.
Hitler was not elected to office. He was appointed Chancellor under President Hindenburg in a deal to form a coalition government in the Reischstag. Chancellor would be equivalent to being the President's Chief of Staff in the US. Strike one.
Strike two. Within a year of taking office, Hitler maneuvered the senile Hindenburg into signing a series of orders declaring a state of emergency, granting extraordinary powers to the Chancellor's office and undercutting the powers of the Reischstag and the courts. Nothing like that has happened in America.
Finally, if Obama was a Hitler clone, at this point the Republican Party would have been outlawed and GOP leaders would be held "for their own protection." Hitler purged the government at all levels of non-Nazis as fast as he could. Instead we had a free and open election last year that increased Republican power. Strike three, you're out.
If you're going to make a historical comparison, could you at least read a freaking book on the subject first?

Okay hotshot...WHAT "similarities"? I dare you...I CHALLENGE you to come up with even ONE that is real! And please try to avoid citing schizo-boy beck as a "source"---he is full of elephant dung that is all part of his daily sponsor-alienating bile-spew.
Hitler used the German philosopher Nietzsche's theories to create the Nazism that falsely vilified millions of Jews. This is the SAME German philosopher QUOTED as a "genius" by neurotic Newt Gingrich when the Republicans decided to falsely VILIFY "Liberals" in the 1990s (Flynt, 2004) in order to orchestrate a POLITICAL TAKEOVER---now you tell US if you will, which of the two (democratically elected Barack Obama or the falsely-vilifying-all-Liberals Republicans would have the most identifiable Nazi-like (Hitler-esque) features here? You are backing the wrong...er...elephant patooties here.

I think Hitler was a non-smoker.
Those posters with Obama with a square mustache are fake.
Obama isn't Catholic.
Obama doesn't speak German.
Obama was born in America. Hitler was originally from Austria.
I can't see any similarities.

The similarities are not as strong between Hitler and Obama as they are between Hitler's followers and Obama's progressive base. In that regard, they are two flavors of the same National Socialist Workers' Party.
EDIT: I actually have to agree with Doug B's points here.
@Doug - So we can still be friends--even at different points in the political spectrum--I respectfully withdrew my previous comment.

Are u serious girl! Where did you get your hitler history. May the Obama dude be not the most popular president but hitler? WOW! There are people in this world would never cease to amaze me.

"the similarities are scary"
What similarities ? They don't have anything significant in common.

No where close. That being said, Fascism can dictate to business what it must do for the State. This has happened a few times now. Choosing labor unions over secured creditors in government controlled bankruptcy proceedings, arm-twisting medical providers with threats of excluding them from insurance pools, telling BP they must provide compensation for Obama's moratorium (in addition to claims) "or else", regulators attaching governmental "social justice" requirements unrelated to a purely business transaction of Comcast Cable buying 51% of NBC.
It's not Fascism, but that's one thing Fascism does.
