B&A: Improvising a Character Challenge - Part 2?

1) Yeah. God this is so embarrassing. See, my mom went through this sort of phase where she watched nothing but old movies from the 1950's and earlier after my older brother, Eric, was born. Well, her favorite movie is "The Outcast" and it starred some actor named John Derrek. She was obsessed with that movie and when she found out she was pregnant with me and my brother, she named me Johnny and my younger twin, Derek. *chuckles* Don't try to confirm this with my dad, he swears up and down he came up with the names.

2) I love to ride J.B. through the woods and I take him up to my friend, Kevin's to do some serious trail riding in the mountains. I like playing basketball, and I swim a lot in the creek but that's more a necessity than a hobby. The weather here in the summer is muggy. I can barely stand it. I like camping with my friends, brother and Bo, and sometimes we all play paint ball in the woods.

3) Well, I'd probably get up the nerve to ask Carley out and I'd take her out to my favorite spot by the creek and.. haha..too much info.

4) Nah, I don't play any instruments unless you consider air drums an instrument *grins cheekily* I like rock mostly, can handle some country but if you even try playing any of that techno or rap crap I'll knock you out, throw you in my pick up, and use you for target practice.

5) I'm outta high school. I work on the farm but I'm also an auto mechanic in town, working for Charley Leotta. No, it ain't my dream job, is it? *laughs* I'd love to own my own ranch but I know there ain't much money in that any more. Still, I'd rather have my brother's job, he's a park ranger in Garfield County.

6) Pff. Who wouldn't argue with a 17 year old lunatic sister still living at home? She's a right pain in my ***. Thinks she's a diva and wants to move to New York City. Ha, she thinks she can sing. Nah, we all get along just fine. Derek and me, we get along the best. Do just about everything together. He likes the outdoors like me. Elsey..eh..she's meant to be a city girl, so we don't see eye to eye, 'specially when it comes to chores. Ma, she's cool. She and dad go down to Colorado a lot to visit Aunt Nicky so me and Derek run the farm. We all get along well enough.

7) My buddy, Kevin Porter, was a jock in high school. We both played on the JV football team. He was the quarter back and was a bit of a scene stealer, if you know what I mean. He's a funny guy, likes to go mud boggin' in his pick up and when we get stuck in 15 inches of mud, we go down to my boss' shop and borrow the tow truck to pull it out. He has a thoroughbred gelding named Tanker..he's so old his butt whistles whenever he walks, no joke. We always ride to the creek to fish. He works in the local restaurant as a chef. He'll be leaving for college this fall so...won't see him around much.

8) My ex, Amanda, I met her through my sister. My sister hangs out with a group of troublemakers two counties over. Amanda's two years younger than me and she stopped by one day and I thought she was kinda cute. She said I could handle my horse well. She doesn't know **** about horses, actually, she doesn't really know **** about ****, does she? Eh. And Carley. *blushes* Went to school with her. I don't know. Always kinda liked her but never had the nerve to tell her. She's away in Boston for college. Maybe I'll stop by her folks when she comes home for Christmas.

9) Ha. Whatcha mean? I ain't afraid of nothing. *laughs nervously* okay, alright. I admit it. I hate spiders. Ugliest bastards I ever seen. And some of them get really big here too.

10) Definitely more shy and reserved. I stick to myself, do my thing, like my own company with Bo, J.B., Derek, Kevin and a couple of our buddies. Yeah, sure. Why wouldn't I like it? I ain't no city boy. Could never do that clubbing scene.

11) I will never be a homosexual. Not that I got anything against them, exactly. Just not my thing and the idea of it gives me the Heebie-Jeebies. I won't ever sing in public, or give a speech. Just hate the thought of it. And I won't ever have more girlfriend than one. I just don't believe in that. Not that kinda guy.

12) Ha. Definitely want to go skydiving. How many people can say they jumped out of a plane voluntarily and plummeted 10,000 feet? lmao. I would love to travel, I don't really care where. Just get out of Jordan, place is dead. And I always wanted to see inside a space ship. Used to watch documentaries of Armstrong walking on the moon. Was obsessed as a kid. Would love to be an astronaut but I ain't smart enough for that. You have to practically be a rocket scientist for that. I couldn't even pass Chemistry on the first go. lol.

- Yep. Kinda. It's not my dads name, but all throughout his family there's been lot's off Jason's.

- Probably being emo in a corner, thinking that my life sucks since I'm gonna die.

- Right now, I work at my school's cafeteria. And I hate it. Do I need to explain that? And I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with my life.

- Meh. For me, my family's just... There. We're close, but not. You know?

- Travis, Conner, and Chris are my friends. I've known Travis since 1st grade, and Conner is his cousin who I met around 7th grade. Chris is my roommate, and we've been friends since we met. They're cool... They're good guys.

- I met Rose on my first day at campus. We went on a day a few nights later, and have been dating since then.

- I'm more outgoing than shy. I'm pretty mellow, and just kinda go with the flow. I like how I'm like that.

1. Yes, my name does hold significance. It means rain, because I bring spring.

2. I try to spend some time every day with Zet. He needs a friend. Aside from that, almost all of my time is free time. I help things grow, and I heal (but I'm not very good at it yet.)

3. I would see my father and sisters again, and I'd make sure Zet and Boris and Cathal and Lyn were there, because they're my friends.

4. Music? Just our drums and lyres, because that's what we dance to.

6. We have our days, but mostly, we're nice to each other. I think I'm closer to my father than my sisters, but really, the whole community of Great Tree is my family.

7. Zet is my best friend. He's great. A little sad sometimes, but still great. He always makes me laugh, and we have this mutual agreement not to talk about it when I catch him cutting himself.

We don't have schools in the Shifting Lands, we just are taught things depending on what we love. As for jobs, I don't know, never gave it much thought- I'm just carefree at the moment

Well, its just me and my dad, Nexus, so we're pretty close... or we were. I found out he's a slave trader, sending men to steal people from the Mortal Realm and secretly selling them into slavery in the Mystical Realm

Levi- we met while I was an Orca and he a shark. We were fighting over a seal, he injured me so I came out of shift. He didn't know I was a shifter so he gave me a ride back to shore, told ME he was a shifter and we've been friend's ever since.

Carter, we met him escaping from the Mystical Realm with Mathew in Antarctica. He was living with a tribe of Elmer (elemental) shifters out of the Realm.

Losing Levi. After Carter was killed, I was in a deep depression and I realised Levi was really the only thing I had left, besides Faylen, Kai, and Mathew, but they aren't as close to me. If Levi died, well, there'd be nothing left to live for.

Bleh, I don't really spend too much time at home, much less talking to anyone in my family. They argue quite a bit, it's at that rocky point in their relationship. The only family member I consider myself close with is my cousin Maggie who lives halfway across Nevada.

Danny Puglesei. He has the same dream as I do. That makes us get along better. Haha, when I first met him I had kicked a soccer ball at his face. It was an accident of course*not*.

Drowning. I hate going in water, just being near it is like death. That's why we had moved from Florida to Nevada nearly right after we discovered my condition. Whenever I stepped outside I would have a nervous breakdown.

Not as far as I know. My parents picked it out of one of those baby name books- but it's not like it's all that original or anything.

Hang around the apartment with Sky and Brandon playing games mainly. Sometimes we might go to a party or whatever, hang out with the girls in the apartment next door, that sort of thing.

I'd want to spend it with my friends (Sky, Brandon, Julie, and Keller mainly, though maybe my sister as well). As for what we would do, I dunno. I don't think that would be quite as important as who, but I'd want to do something memorable. Scale the side of the Math Tower or dump a whole bunch of kool-aid in the rec center pool... or scrape up a whole bunch of money and leave it for charity. Doesn't matter what. Just something that in a few years, people would look back and think "oh yeah, I remember Jason. What a guy."

Rock and roll! Old school stuff, none of this Indie crap. And no, I don't.

Well I'm out of high school, but in college, so which part of the question do I answer? I'm majoring in biology right now, but I don't know what I want to do with that. Dad thinks I should just switch to business...

I get along with my sister. I miss my Mom. I love my Dad, but don't really like being around him. I don't totally hate Carolynn (my stepmom). I don't spend enough time with the shrimp to form much of an opinion on him, but he's okay in a cute-little-kid way.

Listed above, my four best friends in the world are my two roommates, Sky and Brandon, my friend from high school Keller (first name Carl, but goes by his last name) and my ex-girlfriend Julie. Sky is anal retentive and over achieving. Brandon is a giant kid (and I do mean giant, he's built like a fricking bear) who loves driving me and Sky crazy, Keller is kind of the same as Brandon (probably why I liked Brandon when we first met- he reminded me of a more intense version of Keller, who I'm not ashamed to say I missed when we went to different schools, and I reminded him of a more laid back Sky), and Julie is the most chill girl you could ever meet- very easy going and sweet.

I'm not currently in a relationship. I just recently broke up with a girl I started seeing freshman year (Kendra), and before that, I dated Julie on and off through high school. We split in college (even though our schools are only half an hour from one another) but are still good friends. I'm probably going to take a break from dating for awhile.

In the middle... I'm definitely not shy, but I tend to let other people approach me in social situations. I'm fine with it, wouldn't want to be any other way.

1. Never keep a big secret from somebody you love- More of a "never again" then a "never". I did it once before and it ended badly.

2. Never let people tell you who to be- Yeah, yeah, avoid peer pressure, I know, I'm cliche.

3. Never lie to my little sister- because I promised her I wouldn't, back when our Dad was doing nothing but lying.

1. Visit every continent- North America, check. I don't want to stay in one place my whole life.

2. Learn how to make the perfect grilled cheese- yeah, yeah, making grilled cheese is easy. But I'm still convinced that somewhere out there is the perfect combination of heated cheese, meat, and bread (and possible some onions or something?), and I am going to find it.

----I spend my free time in the coffee shops using as much free wifi as I can. I'd suppose I'd also tell you, "Hi, I'm Addison and I a coffee-holic."

----I'd buy a cat to hug while I ate a bag full of cookies and told him all my sorrow.

----Urgh, I dislike music. But my favorite tune is the tapping of my foot or a pencil.

----I'm a check out person at the groceries store. This is my social life. I much enjoy blabbing to strangers and the regulars. My dream career was to be a doctor. It looks like I'm going to have to step it down to a nurse, probably secretary at the rate med. school grades are coming.

----I get nagged at for spending time out of the house. My parents draw me into tight, unbearable hugs when they want me down for dinner or something. My grandmother and I are shopping buddies. She is my best friend, of course.

----It's odd you'd ask this right after I just said my grandmother was! Well, mainly, I'm not a good best friend for people other than her. I talk to everyone and when I feel like it. I quickly loose interest with other people. Grandma is a thrilling conversational person =P

----I do not have one. Though, my boss is a very kind person, I adore him!

9. What is your greatest fear?

----Earthquakes! I fall down enough from my prosthetic leg. I got it from cigarette smoke. From cigarettes of my own and a smoking hide out that the middle school and highschool connected. I got hooked at age ten, and I quit cold turkey when I learned I had to remove my leg that was turning black.

Of course, it was hard. My sister locked me up in my room for the first day tended to me. The next day, she let me out and caught me trying to snag a cig, and smacked me upside the head with one of her school books. She dragged me to her room and threw a children's book at me while she wrote her assignment/report. She made me read the children's book at _least_ twenty times. Out loud.

I remember shaking and rocking in the corner of her room, repeating the book lines when I the migraines totaled me.

----I will never smoke again -> read the above. I will never beat someone up -> too much drama! I will never have kids -> In all reasoning, I love kids, but I would be scared to raise one.

Run a marathon -> I used to run marathons with the family. They stopped going to 'em when my leg was removed. I want to do it because I can! Even if I walk half the way like I used to.

Make room dog-proof -> My dad's dog, Oscar, eats everything. Must stop the evil!
