What is the cost to drive my car per mile?

If I drive 100 miles in my 2010 Honda Pilot SUV which averages 15 miles per gallon and gas costs 3.50 cents per gallon what would be my avg cost per mile to drive this car. I need to amortize in cost of car $35000 plus avg wear and tear( depreciation, tires, brakes etc.

The answer is on the window sticker.. if you look at the milage ratings, right under neath ( on most models) it gives you a yearly average based on an estimated milage and wear and tear, which for most models breaks down to about 18 dollars a day which covers fuel, wear and tear, insurance costs, and financial costs during the first 5 years.. but really its a ball park figure to go off of as most people use the new car for daily driving to enjoy their purchase.

All that trouble just for a Pilot??? Sheesh.

    100 miles/15mpg = 6.66 gallons x $3.50/gal = $23.10 spent on fuel/100miles = 23.1 cents/mile

Wear & tear depends on thre amount of driving done. You won't have any just on 100 miles.

23.333333 per mile gas only..100 m devied by 15 mpg times 3.50 per gallon...most companays [and i think the government] give people 1.00 to 1.25 per mile or using their own cars.Im sure the tax booklets have a fall back average,
