Philosophers stating that humans are essentially good but corrupted by society? NOT Rousseau?
I am writing a paper in philosophy on The Little Prince analyzing the concept that children have a purer concept of reality than adults, and I would like to find a philosophical text to support my arguments with. The people I have spoken to with more experience and knowledge in philosophy than I have all pointed me towards Rousseau, but I would like to read up on more philosophers to have a thorough amount of information and theories about this in mind while writing my essay as well as to have more options to use as my explicit reference for the paper.

Consult the theologians in the Catholic church. They believe that a child is born innocent and without sin.
