When I read 'Flowers in the Attic,' and the rest of its series, I must have cried half a dozen times... I was also 14, and at that point in my life I still hadn't cried over a movie.

Also, I sort of cried a little during Harry Potter, the last few books just really tapped on my sensitive nerve.

I cry in about every book I read.

Here is a list of the ones that I cried the most when I read:

Where the Red Fern Grows-Wilson Rawls

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-J.K. Rowling

    Sapphique-Catherine Fisher

    The Outsiders-S.E. Hinton

Percy Jackson and the Olympians:The Last Olympian-Rick Riordan

The Lord of the Rings:The Fellowship of the Ring-JRR Tolkien

Te Lord of the Rings:Return of the King-JRR Tolkien

    Old Yeller-Fred Gibson

    Touching Spirit Bear-Ben Mikaelsen

    The Last Song-Nicholas Sparks

    Dear John-Nicholas Sparks

    A Child Called "It"-Dave Pelzer

    Walk Two Moons-Sharon Creech

I bawled in all of these books.

We read Where the Red Fern Grows in school and I was crying all day that day.

When I read HP7, I cried for hours! All night long. It just got to me and broke me down. I could barley finish the books because of all the tears!

I cry while reading many books, I (this is really embarassing) tested up at a TRAILER fo NEVER SAY NEVER!!!! I felt so embarassed just sitting there on my computer as the ad popled up and no one else was even there!

So the weirdest part at which I teared up while reading was in Harry potter 5 when neville's mom hands him a gum wrapper and his gram tells him to throw it away but instead he puts it in his pocket, that is honestly one of the sweetest and saddest passages I have ever read

The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini

Life of Pi - Yann Martel

Both are amazing, thought-provoking, profound stories. There's this one passage in The Kite Runner that always makes me cry, no matter how many times I read it.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I cried several times when I read it, and by the end I felt like I had been through what the main character had.

Pay It Forward - Catherine Ryan Hyde

It's incredibly inspirational, I would definitely recommend it.

The movie is excellent as well, but read the book first.

A Child Called "It" is the ONLY book...it's about an abused toddler (it is also a true story about the author's life)
