What will Scott Walker take on next once this whole union issue is resolved?

Wisconsin's governor clearly has an agenda. I'm guessing stem cell research is next on the chopping block. What do you guys think?

Update:

I'd thought of that Paulina Paulino. He gets a year in office before he can be recalled, though. You can do a lot in a year if you have the enthusiasm and support.

Update 2:

Kingler - Wow. No where in my question did I mention "Human Embryonic Stem Cells." Way to jump to conclusions. At any rate, your view of hES cell research is clearly biased and under informed. Currently the state of Wisconsin funnels exactly $0 into hES cell research. Outlawing it won't help the budget crisis. Additionally, there are many applications for hES cell research that don't involve regenerative medicine, and therefore don't involve "injection" into a human body. I am not a scientist, but I work closely with scientists who perform all sorts of stem cell work (including hES cell research) and all agree that there are many useful applications for hES cells and that since the field is so new (only 13 years old), it still needs much more consideration than the conservative right wants to give it. Yes, adult stem cells cure diseases. But the research on adult stem cells has been going on for over 50 years. We shouldn't wash our hands of hES cells until we give them a chance. As a w

    I hope you're right!

Embryonic stem cells can't cure a damn thing, and are only good for you if you happen to BE a cancer. We should quit presuming that there is any science or practical applications behind the research into them.

Adult stem cells are a great success. But what do you get when you put embryonic stem cells into a person, cancerous tumors! Just cancerous tumors! Why in the hell should we invest public tax money into promoting hyped up B.S.?

It seems like the only reason the idiot left wants to invest in this asinine "technology" is that it pisses off people who think life is sacred.

Since it's been proven that Adult stem cells are more successful than Embryonic stem cells - why do we insist on baby farming in the name of science?

Apparently some think it unreasonable for union members to pay about half what those in similar private sector jobs pay for health insurance. That ends in Wisconsin thankfully. Once he has given the unions their wakeup call, he can continue the task of making the best of a bad budget. The day of the union's usefulness has long passed.

I've noticed that most of the people out there cheering in support of public-sector unions own and drive cars that were not made by union workers. Anyway, it seems that there is a conflict of interest in public-sector unions fighting against the tax payers and voters by trying to effectively overturn the election results in Wisconsin.

Gov. Walker is not trying to remove unions' fundamental power to bargain for wages. He is demanding that state workers put 5.8% of their wages toward retirement and that they cover 12.6% of their health care premiums, which would still have them paying more than $100 less a month than the average private sector employee.

The book christian american fascists by chris hedges is in line with your worries.

my suggestion though is through official channels wisconsin and planet get one dollar from each of the 7 billion citizens on earth to put street trolleys in cities in wisconsin and others like new york, los angeles, detroit, chcago. now since wisconsin primary concern 7 billion dollars goes a long way to fixing for a year any problems.

He has made it clear he wants to get rid of unions. The unions have said that they are willing to pay just let them keep their rights his response has been" there is no negotiating". His reasoning is because of the cuts to come. Parents that send their kids to public schools need to realize we will lose the music and art programs. We will have larger class sizes. The UW colleges will rise almost 20 percent. I am in Madison almost everyday after work fighting for my children! I hope you will join us ad stop fighting us we do this for all our children!

I am thinking there is going to be a recall vote, and he will not be gov much longer.

EDIT: That I did not know, about the min of one year. Could he possibly be impeached for fiscal malfeasance?
