I recently obtained my grandpa's mandolin. It's a Gibson (at least that's what it says on it in red lettering). It's stamped F41 on the inside and has a serial number 936H305 on the inside. I would guess he got it in the early to mid 1930's. It's rather plain looking - round body, dark finish, oval opening. Not too flashy. Any suggestions as to what model it is and whether or not it's an authentic Gibson?

Wisconsin's governor clearly has an agenda. I'm guessing stem cell research is next on the chopping block. What do you guys think?

How do they compare? Did the Kindergarten curriculum change after 4K was introduced in your district? Most brands of tuna have taken out the dolphin meat now, and I liked it better when they had the dolphin mixed in. Are there any brands that still have the dolphin?

Show me your funniest questions of all time

I am of the opinion that there are three kinds of people:

1. Those who would only raise their child themselves

2. Those who would either have an abortion or raise their own child

3. Those who would give their child up for adoption or raise it themselves.

I really don't think there are many people out there who would consider all three options, therefore outlawing abortion wouldn't make any significant impact on adoption rates. All it would do is increase the number of single mothers, teen mothers, and illegal abortions.

Are there more people out there who would give their baby up for adoption in the absence of safe, legal abortions than I think?
