What effect does having 3 vehicles have on my SNAP and Medi-Cal application?
We live in california and my husband just got laid off and we are going to apply for some aid. Online it seems we would qualify but we have 3 vehicles. According to blue book ones worth $10000.00 the other two are both worth less then $1500.00. Anyone had any experience with this situation? Does one of them being nonoperational have any effect on its worth? Also if denied do you think we could win our appeal? Im mostly concerned with the medical benefits for our kids but help with food is always nice.

It doesnt matter the value but each person who applies is allowed to own one car and you can own a home if you live in it. You have asset limits of $3000 for a married couple and each county determines the exact income limit to qualify for Medi-Cal. You can explain to the case worker than the third car is not running. You may have to sell one of them to qualify. Generally it is not easy to qualify. I am a senior in California over 65 and I dont qualify for Medi-Cal or Food Stamps since in my county income limit is $903 and I have no minor children.

what state are you in? varied states have some form of application for pregnant women persons. although, mine did no longer (new jersey). it in basic terms presented medicaid and that i made too plenty to be coated. i be attentive to 250 a month could seem as though plenty yet with each and all the dr visits and assessments you have got, it incredibly is worth it to be coated. my 20 week point 2 extremely sound (which exams and measures the organs) fee over one thousand money and the dr visit replaced into $3 hundred. its very rather frustrating no longer being coated during pregnancy. i wound up going to a health facility and having to attend there 2 hours each and each appointment just to be considered. additionally status at the same time as 9 months pregnant because of the fact there wasnt any seats availible. get the coverage or look on the courses your state has yet do it asap. njs medicaid had a ninety day waiting era in the previous they instructed you in case you have been approved or no longer. **additionally you cant purchase scientific coverage, being pregnant is a pre present condition**
