Technology makes the world safer and worse.

Safer - Emergency services can be contacted quicker and easier. Life support systems in hospitals. Medical research. CCTV. Alarms. Radio/TV/Internet warnings+advice. Electric gates. Infra-red cameras to catch criminals. Night vision. SHop lifting alarms. mobile phone cameras. tracking devices. radars.

Worse - Easier to track people. Increased radiation. Increased radio waves. Easier to spread panic. More thefts because new gadgets are stolen. Electrical energy wasted. Mobiles cooking brains (Im serious, they give of microwaves [no, not the kitchen appliance] That literally cook your brain.) Electrical dependency (Power cut and your stuffed)

Its about 50/50... everything has pros and cons

In a way it does because you can have burglar alarms for your house and the police can catch criminals on CCTV.

But there are also new dangers we didn't have before like it's easier to get your identity stolen and the internet is used as a means of communication for burglars and sex offenders.

Is say it does and it doesn't. Technology is good for defending but is also good for the attacker.
