Is a Sig Sauer sp2022 easy to conceal?

You'd be surprised! I used to carry(and mean car-ry..I NEVER left the house without it!) a PT92 when I was 21. We're talking a full size frame on a beanpole who was pushing 160 easy! In AZ...even in summer! Still many were "shocked" when it was revealed that I was carrying! Most had no idea.

And this was using concealment technology of the '90's!

Nowadays many manufacturers will have me believe that even though I am now 180, and spent more time with a weight set(buffed up a bit) that I absolutely CAN NOT get away with concealing anything bigger than a PPK!!! Unless of course i buy their products.

Take it from a guy who used to carry a hunk of steel and wood in a shoulder rig when temps hit 120, you CAN conceal it. In fact you might easily be able to hide it almost completely if you find the right rig!

I have a SIG P6 that is about the same rough size as a Glock 19, and I'll say that there is a LITTLE difficulty concealing it well. I only carry larger guns OWB and with this gun I use an IMI Defense paddle holster. On some jackets I have the barrel is just barely covered, and will peak out a bit if I'm moving around. Not good. I end up having to wear longer jackets or a button up shirt untucked to cover it. All in all I just end up carrying my LCP dropped in my pocket a lot more.

Having looked at a lot of guns lately in the hope of getting something bigger than the LCP that still works well, I'm pretty much set on the Kahr CW9 at this point. You're looking at a thinner single-stack gun, taking a half-inch off the barrel, and a shorter grip but still long enough (for me) to hold with all fingers on the grip.

I successfully conceal a huge Glock Model 21 all day long. If you want to do a good job of concealing a pistol, everything starts with a strong gun belt and a holster that tucks the gun butt in tight to your side. After that it's all about how you learn to move your body while carrying a gun.

(I once had two touchy-feely grandmother types recognize that I was wearing an authentic Hawaiian Aloha shirt and begin grabbing the fabric and pulling on it while they complimented me. All I could think of was, 'Granny, if you keep opening and closing that lapel, you're going to get a really big surprise when you discover that: huge 45 pistol, CRKT folder, cell phone, and spare magazine that are hiding underneath.')

'Weight' is a funny sort of thing. It has a lot to do with what you get used to. Personally, I feel naked and insecure whenever that 3 or 4#'s isn't attached to my belt. Not to ask the obvious; but, why would you want a clunky SIG when you could have a superlative (3rd gen.) Model 19?

Ive since switched to carry a Glock 23 instead but only because of the fact that I shoot a glock much better than a sig.(ergonomics work for me)

I did and do like the SP2022 and it has given me no problems in the few years that I have owned it.

I definitely like the smart carry holster as it is now the only CCW holster I use.

I dont own one but probably easy to conceal. I have a full size beretta PX4 Storm. It is not a small firearm and I carry it IWB inside waist band using a KHOLSTER. This holster allows for max adjustment and is really comfortable and affordable.

I carry a sp 2022 all the time. have a good leather inside the waistband holster. tried using a cheaper material type holster, did not work well. Most of the time the gun is not detectable. I like the larger frame pistols because I have larger hands and they feel better to me. One of the things that takes some getting used to is the fact of no safety. When the gun clears the holster it is ready to go.

Consider the Sig P250 if the SP2022 is too large for your taste, but never compare a Sig to a Kel-Tec. They are in no way near the same class firearm.
