What are the opening hours for the Dome of the Rock?

I will be visiting Jerusalem and I would like to get onto the mountain where the Dome of the Rock stands. What are currently the opening hours for non-muslims? I vaguely remember them being different for muslims and non-muslims.

    Open Hours: 8a-noon & 12:30p-3p Su-Th (except Muslim holidays)

    Have a great trip:)

  • Well Good luck with that, My family and I tried visiting it and were denied Access, even though we have british passports and my Auntie has an american Passport. We also had a Visa -.-

We are muslim, maybe thats why.

Oh the times would be different , because of prayer times, They probably would welcome you to watch them pray (suggest you wear modest cloths and cover your head) but otherwise , its booked basically and there isn't much to see.

But again Good luck :) We were able to visit Bethlehem and have a tour around there - I suggest you visit there .

    Have Fun

    Hours: Open to non-Muslims Sun - Thurs 7:00 to 11:00, 13:30 to 14:30.

Non-Muslims are only allowed access to the Temple Mount from the ramp to the right of the Western Wall, and are not allowed in the Dome of the Rock or the Al Aksa Mosque. Non-Muslims are also not allowed to pray, not even silently.

Modest dress required. Bring your passport and be prepared for strict security measures.

    :]
