How many boys with the name Reece / Reese / Rhys do you know?

Please note that I said *boys* with the name, not girls. It's one of my very favorite boy names, but I'm wondering how popular it's becoming.

If you could say about what area you live in, that'd be great, too! Thanks :)

I want Reese for a woman and Rhys for a boy. universal, i admire the spelling Rhys the final. Reece makes me think of of Reece's products :P particular, i might evaluate it. possibly Rhys Michael?

  • I knew one Reece/Reese (not sure how he spelled it) when I was in high school. He would be about 30 now.

My cousin has a son named Reece (techincally it's Frederick Reece, but he goes by his middle name). He is probably about 5 years old now.

    I have never met a female Reese/Reece.

I am a teacher, so I'm pretty in tune with what names are common in my area. I don't think Reece is very common in my area at all. I've never had a student (or heard of student's sibling, cousin, or neighborhood friend) by that name.

I live in California near San Francisco.

I love the name Rhys / Reece!

At my high school, which is very very small, there is only one Reece. There aren't any girls with the name around here either. Another school that I transfered to for some time, it was much larger, but I didn't come across any Reece/Reese/Rhys of either gender. As for outside of school, I've yet come across one.

Both schools are in New York.

I love the spelling Rhys as it's the traditional spelling.

I don't know any boys named Reece/Reese/Rhys and I don't know any girls with the name either. It's on my list as Rhys.

    Edit: I live in Canada.

I live in London (UK) and I know a Reece and a Reese, about the same age as me, and a Rhys who is about 10.

I only know one and he spells it Ries.

I love that name for a boy too and have the same concern!

My favorite spelling is Rhys and have it as Channing Rhys, just because I'm too worried about it being popular with girls to use it as a first name. I hate that :/
