Are you more likely to bleed when you miscarry?
Hello everyone! I'm about 6 weeks pregnant at the moment been feeling really nauseous then week... grim! But i was just wondering if your more likely to bleed when you loose a baby.. I thought you always bled, but my sister has had two miscarriages and both times she only found out on her 12 week scan. So which is the most common way.. And i know i'm still in the risky stage of my pregnancy, but what is the most likely week to loose a baby.. i know no time im pregnancy is 100% safe i lost a little boy at 28 weeks in 2009. Also i have a 7 month old son already and i winded because i fell pregnant 6 months after having him am i more likely to loose this one as it is so close. thank you all for your answers xxx

Bleeding doesn't always mean u are miscarrying. I have had three miscarriages in the past two years and currently 9 weeks pregnant. Had three episodes of bleeding with this pregnancy but so far everything is going good. 90 percent of miscarriages usually happens within the first register and there is really nothing one can do to stop a miscarriage. All we need to do is pray and cross our fingers all goes well with our pregnancy. I am wishing u a happy and healthy pregnancy. Have faith. God bless you

If your asking if a normal miscarriage (cramping and bleeding) is more common than a blight ovum (fetal doesn't developed but body doesn't reject it and continues with the pregnancy) then the answer is yes.
I had a blight ovum miscarriage which was picked up via an ultrasound at 10 weeks. My doctor told me that its not as common as the normal miscarriages.
The most likely stage to miscarried is in the first trimestar which is up to 12 weeks but it can also happen at anytime of the pregnancy..
Good luck.

The most crucial risky weeks are weeks ''1'' through to weeks 12 (so your first trimester) after this your chances drop significantly, but of course the risk is still there for some women.
In the very early weeks, for example week 4, when you've not long conceived, you can have what is called a chemical pregnancy. This does not involve bleeding, but is still a form of miscarriage.

theres no likely week to lose a baby it can happen anytime, what your sister has gone through is a missed miscarriage where the body has not registered the fetus has sadly died, so it carries on believing its pregnant,
theres no common way to have a miscarriage some bleed and then find out they have lost the baby and some go for scans at 12- 15- 18 weeks and find out baby passed away at say 8-10-14 ish weeks,
im sorry you lost a baby in 2009 i hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months

Bleeding and cramping are signs of a miscarriage, if you feel experience any of this then call the hospital.
