Im looking for some truely horrifying terrifying gory horror movies. Any suggestions?

The final scene in The Last Exorcism was awesome. But yeah, the rest of the movie sucked.

Faces of Death are lame. Virtually none of it is real.

I like older horror movies my self. Anything by H.G. Lewis (Wizard of Gore, Blood Feast), Lucio Fulci (Zombie 2, City of the Living Dead), Dario Argento, Joe D'Amato, Lamberto Bava.

Burial Ground - a zombie eats a boob

Demons - best "transformation" scene ever

any of Romero's living dead series.

For newer stuff I liked, Martyrs, The Collector, House of the Devil.

A Serbian Film is great. It is a very well made movie that keeps your attention throughout the whole thing. But be prepared for it. Read about it online first. It has the most extreme depictions of rape, torture and murder you can imagine. That is why the movie will be remembered, but it is a good movie.

If you want just pure gore with suspence and horror i'd say go with Saw's I really liked them some people say differently but the story line in all of them is amazing and the graphics are great. Also if want Disturbing like your not going to sleep for a few days and just completly disturbed try the movie MARTYS, it's in french but there are english subtitles but I swear to god That's a movie you only EVER see once. You can also try Kill bill. It's not a horror but a great action movie jam packed with blood and gore.

Try Halloween 1 or 2(rob zombie versions were bloodier than originals). Also the new Nightmare on Elm Street remake was very good. The new Friday the 13th was gory but not very scary

Rec and its sequel Rec 2...brilliant shot in first person perspective...so scary outbreak of a virus or is IT???? very gory and tense all the way through

All the saws are accomadated as a horror but are extremley gory

Hills have eyes 1 and 2....not the best horrors well the first is...very scary and gory as hell

The first part of Scream 1 and Scream 3 are really gory.

A Serbian Film...though I would not recommend that anyone watch that. It is a traumatizing experience. Damn my curiosity.
