Why is there so much more Rh Positive people in the world than there is Rh Negative?

I mean about 85% of the Human population is Rh positive and the other 15% is Rh Negative. Why is there so much more of Rh + than Rh-?

    1. There are more Rh+ grandparents than not, and they passed along the allele to their descendants *shrug*

    2. The Rh+ actually does something useful. It's not just decoration.

    The RH factor (named for the rhesus monkey) is a particularity found both in the primate and mankind.
