Won't raising my caloric intake make me gain weight?
I'm struggling with issue involving food...I hate myself when I eat or get full and I try to purge. I usually don't go above 800..sometimes 900. And this is an increase from my 200-500 limit. If I go up to the recommended 1200-1400 won't I just gain weight?
Also, I don't eat meat or dairy and I rarely eat eggs. I don't drink sodas, eat fast/junk/super-processed foods. All I drink is water, tea(fresh), and sometimes soy milk. I am overweight at 5' 7" and 162 lbs(when I weighed almost 2 weeks ago) I have been exercising 5 times a week with some cardio and toning.
I'm so scared to eat food and gain weight, but I need to know if I'm just setting myself back more.
Please help?

You are definitely setting yourself back more by purging and interrupting your body's metabolic cycle.
Bulimia is a serious eating disorder. Purging not only interupts your metabolic cycle, but it can also cause severe irritation to your esophagus and erode enamel on your teeth (from bile).
You are exercising and toning which is very good. And you appear to be eating healthy foods.
However, messing with your body's natural metabolism will put weight on you. It's almost like 'yo yo' dieting. You are also putting yourself at risk for gallbladder problems.
First, you need to stop the purging. You are doing a lot of damage to yourself, which may not be apparent at first.
Second, it may be in your best interest to see a doctor about your eating disorder.
Third, it is best to eat 5-6 small meals a day to keep your metabolism boosted throughout the day.
You need to stop your fear of food and weight gain. Food is not the enemy here - you are. With a doctor's assistance, you can learn to have a better relationship with food and your body.
I wish you the best of luck!

ok. the following is going: i'm no nutritionist, dietician, or exercising professional, yet it is what i have heard and look into: attempt cardio exercising like walking and walking. do not overwork your self. Make it a widely used habit to bypass walking with a chum or puppy. This forces you to maintain your recurring and delivers some thing to do in the course of a walk. Slowly project your self with longer workouts. so some distance as weightloss pills bypass, do not use them, in simple terms exercising. there is a million promising magic pills obtainable, yet exercising is the undesirable guy's beauty surgical treatment. possibly your weight-reduction plan does no longer artwork because you're doing it the incorrect way. eat healthful and stay lively. examine along with your doctor or surf the information superhighway for food data about the food that you're ingesting. i'm no professional, yet when you're overweight or overweight (no offense) on your body length, then will an severe eating routine quite artwork? i heard that those with weight problems would quite income weight in the adventure that they eat too little. this is the body's starvation reaction and motives it to keep any little food it receives as fat. ensure you carry out somewhat examining on that stuff. If worst contains worst, examine along with your doctor. He can likely help you or refer you to someone who can.
