Share your oppinion on my poetry?

-I Swear That I Am Here-

Being caught redhanded,

Is quite a funny thing.

You’ll notice that i care for you,

Yet i cannot do a thing.

The fact remains; my mind won’t change.

My vow is that I’m certain.

I’ll stand inbetween you and harm,

Deflecting like glare by a curtain.

I have persisted for this long.

Trying my best to keep pace.

Like i said from square one.

“Can we please stop this chase?”

We could join and share pleasure,

By finding a new friend.

Uncovering solace in eachother.

While being loyal ‘til the end.

It seems to me you’re frightened.

I swear there is naught to fear.

My feet are firmly planted.

I swear that i am here.

My sincere promise will be kept.

I would catch your every tear.

I will always be within your grasp.

I swear that i am here.

Update:

I would have understood your answer about the "There is no god" love poem a little more if i would have specifically asked for an arrogant writers oppinion.

Willeeum, I believe Francisco was giving a compliment, saying your writing was better than his. I don't think your additional comments are appropriate.

I, however, won't comment on your poem for it's possible that I am a better writer than you.

Pretty good, at least compared to my "there is no God" love poem
