Greens and blues look best with Chestnuts. Stay away from colors like red or burgundy. I personally like teal and royal blue on my horses. I've shown with rust orange too.
My hunt coat is dark green and my hunt shirt is a deep rust orange. I've shown western with that color too. Also, My halter and lead are that same orange. My big hunter is the same color as the one in the picture that you posted too.

I think just about any color would work. White is the most traditional but I think a light green or light blue would look best

well, the most traditional color is white, but green and blue look great too. try to stay away from red, because that might be too busy considering your horse is chestnut

I think a nice blue or sky blue would look good. If your wanting to try something different, go for yellow :D

Beautiful color for a horse. I think green (grassy colored green) or a royal purple color would go with that color horse.
