SO's decided he's interested in names now - your thoughts?
My SO used to be convinced that I could pick the names for our children and he wasn't bothered about them, but now he's decided he is interested and wants a say! So we spent most of the morning devising some first-middle-middle combinations that we both like, and I'm wondering what your thoughts on them are :)
{boys}
• Roman Nathaniel Grey (nn Rome)
• Harper Adam Jack
• Maxwell Jacob Heath (nn Max)
• Isaac Jasper Gabriel
• Morgan Bennet James
{girls}
• Viola Hazel Blair
• Rose Ivy Catherine
• Olive Ruby Winter
• Daphne Isobel Grace
• Mary Elizabeth June (nn Molly)
Rate, comment, tell me your favourites or give suggestions of similar names we may like :) BA will go to the most detailed answer. And don't be afraid to be honest, even brutally so! We're still not 100% set on them.
Thanks!
~ Aurora & Nate

** on the final girls combo - Mary (Molly) is Nate's grandmother's name; she recently passed and had a big influence on him. We're also considering Maren "Molly" and Pomeline "Molly". Elizabeth would be to honour my mother, Elle.
LeeLee <3 - I'm sorry, how old are you? About 12? I can assure you, neither me or my SO are uneducated, and I do not need to "read a book" - I'm an English Literature student, in fact. Overuse of the word "cadence" doesn't make you educated, dear. And if you knew the surname (which you don't, I'm not keen on just randomly giving it out online) you'd probably understand that they do sound perfectly fine.

• Roman Nathaniel Grey
I love this combination, everything about it. It's perfect and fluid and masculine. Roman is one of my favorite names for a boy and it pairs nicely with Nathaniel.
• Harper Adam Jack
I've only recently started to like Harper, probably because of Neil Patrick Harris' new baby boy! The combo as a whole is really lovely. Are you worried at all about how this name would sound with Nate's last name? The first two syllables kind of match... :-/
• Maxwell Jacob Heath
I don't love the name Maxwell. It reminds me of the little pig in the Geiko commercial! I also have a dog named Max and know many dogs named Max so it is sort of like Maggie to me in that it will always suit a pup better than a human. I do love Heath, though!

• Isaac Jasper Gabriel
This is my least favorite combo, only because I so much dislike Isaac! I adore Jasper and Gabriel, but Isaac sounds harsh to me. Plus, I've only known scallywags with this name. I think something like Noah Jasper Gabriel or Charles Jasper Gabriel would be gorgeous!
• Morgan Bennet James
Love love love this! In my part of the United States, I've only ever known girls with the name Morgan but I've always thought it sounded a bit off on girls. This combo is lovely.
• Viola Hazel Blair
I like all three names, but Viola and Hazel are both plants. I think something like Viola Georgia Blair would be perfect.
• Rose Ivy Catherine
Again with the two plants in one name. :] It's very pretty and elegant, but I'm not a fan of plant names anyway so maybe I'm not the best to answer. Although I do adore the name Ivy. If this was Isobel Viola Catherine "Ivy" or Ivy Ramona Catherine, I would be in love.
• Olive Ruby Winter
I like Olive! It's spunky and cute. Ruby is not a favorite but I'll admit it sounds nice here.
• Daphne Isobel Grace
I like Daphne! I don't think I've seen it on your list before. Isobel and Grace are a tiny bit plain next to it, but perhaps Daphne needs something a little less "out there" since it's not as common.
• Mary Elizabeth June
I love to see the name June used! I think this combination is lovely! Molly is an adorable nickname for Mary, though I think you could also get away with using it as a nickname for Margaret. Margaret June Elise may be another option. This is just very pretty. :]
I think a beautiful sibset would be:
♂ Roman Nathaniel Grey
♂ Charles Jasper Gabriel
♀ Ivy Ramona Catherine
♂ Margaret June Elise
♥ Rome, Charles, Ivy, & Molly

• Harper Adam Jack- 3/10 prefer Harper on a girl, and the flow seems off.
• Maxwell Jacob Heath (nn Max)- 8/10 very cute
• Isaac Jasper Gabriel- 7/10 not fond of Issac, but this combos sounds nice
• Morgan Bennet James- 8/10 love that you are using Morgan on a boy. the flow seems a little off. If it were Morgan James Bennet I would give it a 9/10
{girls}

• Rose Ivy Catherine- 8/1- love seeing Rose in the first name spot

• Roman Nathaniel Grey (nn Rome)
I think these names flow well together. Nathaniel would be my favourite, but I don't dislike the others.
• Harper Adam Jack
Honestly, I'm not a fan of Harper. I first heard Harper on a girl, so I guess that could be why. Also, I don't think these flow as well as the above name does. That will depend on your surname of course.
• Maxwell Jacob Heath (nn Max)
This sounds good. If I were able to swap, I would use Jacob Heath Maxwell.
• Isaac Jasper Gabriel
Isaac is a big favourite of mine. I'm not so sure that Jasper and Gabriel work together.
• Morgan Bennet James
Again, I first heard Morgan on a female. I guess it just seems more feminine to me. The names do sound good together though.
{girls}
• Viola Hazel Blair
I like this.
• Rose Ivy Catherine
Rose Ivy doesn't sound right to me. I would use Ivy Rose personally.
• Olive Ruby Winter
I do like this combo. Ruby is such a a lovely name. Also, I like how Olive isn't strange, but then it isn't really common either.
• Daphne Isobel Grace
This sounds lovely. I'm not a fan of Daphne myself, but I can't say that this combo is horrible. Beautiful names. (Plus, Isobel is my preferred spelling!)
• Mary Elizabeth June (nn Molly)
Great names, fit well. I'm not really sure how Molly comes from Mary though.
I wouldn't really know what to suggest.
I do love Sophia and Madeleine myself.
Lucas, Finley, William and Joseph are favourites of mine that aren't in your list.

Roman Nathaniel Grey
Kind of stuck between the first three for the girls :) but maybe Olive Ruby Winter
There's lots of really great names there. Personally I love...
Roman Bennett James (Rome)!!!! I also like
Maxwell Bennett Jack (Max)
For the girl I love the names Rose, Winter, Isabel and Grace, so how about...
Olive Isabel Hazel or
Rose Winter Grace
Mary Elizabeth Winter
Viola Elizabeth Grace
Rome and Olive are Very cute :) I absolutely love Rome!!
Other suggestions:
Elizabeth Kate Winter (Eliza, Betsy or Beth)
Lucia Winter Kate (Lucie)
Olive Rose Aurora
Linnea Elizabeth Winter
Elena Rose Natalie
Alice Winter Isabel
Hazel Rose Isabel
Evelyn Elizabeth Mary (Evie or Eve)
Elizabeth Aurora Rose (Betsy, Eliza or Liza)
Mary Elizabeth Ruby
Hope these help!
They are all beautiful names :)

Love Roman & Maxwell, Isaac is okay & Morgan and Harper are total girls names to me.
For the girls I love Daphne & Mary Elizabeth (nn Molly)
Olive & Rose are nice, but I don't like Viola, I much prefer Violet

Out of the boy names I just love the name Maxwell Jacob Heath, its such a classy name. Roman Nathaniel Grey is a close second though. Out of the girl names I would have to say l like the Rose combo the best, but ordered: (Rose Katherine Ivy) instead. I really like the last combo also, but I think Molly is a better fit than Mary. (Molly Elizabeth June) Hope this helps :)
ADD: haha, I agree about your last comment. She can't read - I answered one of her questions with the name Tayla (said like Kayla) and she posted a nasty comment directed to me about how the name "Taylor" is common. I'd have to say she acts more like 11 than 12. :)

NONE of your combination's have cadence! like at all! most you can just rearrange.
{boys}
• Roman Nathaniel Grey (nn Rome) - Nathaniel Grey is better, without Roman
• Harper Adam Jack - I like Harper, but neither Jack nor Adam sound good with it.
• Maxwell Jacob Heath (nn Max) - Maxwell Heath is better
• Isaac Jasper Gabriel - Gabriel Isaac is much better
• Morgan Bennet James - Morgan James, Bennet is just sort of stuck in the middle and it ruins the name
{girls}
• Viola Hazel Blair - drop the Hazel
• Rose Ivy Catherine - Catherine Ivy Rose has much better cadence to it!
• Olive Ruby Winter - I love Olive, but these names do NOT do it justice
• Daphne Isobel Grace - I don't like it all!
• Mary Elizabeth June (nn Molly) - Its very plain, but I'd still lose the June
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE 3 names but pretty much all of your name choices don't flow together at all and they sound really choppy. You need to read a book, become more educated and learn how to make a name sound good.

Bonnie -- i'm with you in this one. i locate the call too cutesy for my liking, which skill i might want to probable not in any respect evaluate it. it is actual more advantageous of a accountable excitement for me. For me, i do not imagine it might age nicely. you would possibly want to always use it as a center call, in case you do evaluate utilising it? Adeline -- that's a astonishing looking call. that's a tremendous time-honored of mine, and that i like the ask your self it holds, yet as well the wonder. Addie is this style of cute nickname for it, too. it is were given a very classic experience to it besides, and feels like it might age nicely. you're welcome, :) Victoria
