my birthcontrol has been making me depressed...?
I just started my birth control a month n a half ago but the last 3 weeks I've been feeling depressed and it just seems to be getting worse and worse. I feel so empty inside and my body feels numb, I wil start crying for no reason all the time, I don't want to do anything anymore, I can't fall asleep at night without taking something but then I don't want to wake up in the morning. If this is caused from my birth control and I stop taking it will I get worse before I get better or will I just start getting better?

I saw this question on the Health main page and figured i reply since my wife had this issue while she was on birth control
She was on Yaz (i believe) for a bit and it did seem to make her depression worst because of a hormone that is in it. Its best to talk to your Doc about it. She had to find a form of birth control that had very little or no hormone in it.
Once she was off it that birth control and went to another she had done better with her depression but the Yaz made her depression worst.

Ok go to the doctor. And I dint think Birth control can make someone depressed. If it is the birth control then stop taking it. But I think you are just depressed. So go to the doctor and tell them whats up. They will refer you to a therapist or Psychiatrist and they will give you something for both your lack of sleep and the depression
Probably Seroquel which is used for depression and getting sleep.

I hate tablets for my part. And the patch is proving to rationale alot of blood clots. And whilst I used to be more youthful I used to be at the shot. Now I have the early indicators of osteoprosis & I'm 23. :( So I did discover a start manage that I love! The nuva ring. I swear via this factor! Its extra affective than the capsule. Alot much less dilemma. And it nonetheless offers off the hormones that aid your epidermis. I have by no means heard of any individual getting depressed on it. Its alot higher I believe than any capsule. I'd seem into it in case your interested.
