What is the best method to avoid pregnancy for a newly married couple?
They want to avoid pregnancy only for one year. Here the word "best" means without any side effect or minimum side effect.
Thanks in advance.

The BEST & SAFEST ever is to go for Natural Contraception.
Don't have intercourse when the wife is ovulating.
Whats ovulation? Go to a sex consultant and let him explain u all.
I personally never had pills....i was just scared of messing up my body.
Trust me... its the best option u'll ever have.

We are also a young married couple. We used birth control pills for the first few years of our marriage. It was good, very little side effects, and was able to avoid pregnancy. I would not recommend Depo (the shot). It is convenient because she doesnt need to take it very often, and it is effective....but, when you are ready to begin your family (if that is your long term plan), the shot has shown to take longer to get out of her system than traditional birth control pills. With the pills, we were able to get pregnant (now 4 months along) within a year (most couples take from 6-12 months to conceive) after discontinuing birth control. congratulations on your marriage, and good luck!

Copper T and all these temporary solutions will always cause problems to the lady... She might gain weight, or abdomen might have irregular pain, menstrual cycle will get affected and many such things...
Natural way to understand the menstrual cycle and make love during the "Safe Period"....
If you really cannot cannot control your urge, make love and then ask your spouse (lady) to urinate within 15 mins after the end of the intercourse.... Also make her hav plenty of warm water (so she urinates regularly during that day) and make her eat half-a-Papaya....
